Tyckte om I chose to stay at Beech Hill whilst walking the Two Moors Way / Devon Coast to Coast after seeing some good reviews online. The site is in a perfect location just off the trail which was ideal for me and was really great value compared to other locations nearby. Upon arriving at Beech Hill I had a warm welcome from a couple of the residents who gave me all the info I needed and showed me where everything was. The site itself is beautiful, next to an orchard surround by mature trees which let the sunshine in and kept the wind at bay. Another feature which was hugely appreciated was the camp kitchen, a wooden structure open on two sides with gas stoves, sink, crockery and cutlery and even a small fridge. As I was camping with just a small tent, having somewhere to sit, cook, eat and relax was a game changer. The site is sustainability and environmentally conscious with composting toilets and solar showers. I spoke to a few residents of the community all of whom were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Beech Hill and can’t wait to visit again if I’m passing through the area.
