Tyckte inte om We took a rubber hammer to pitch our awning, however it was physically impossible to knock the pegs into the ground. We had to use their maintenance man's lump hammer to knock the pegs in and nearly all of our pegs were bent due to the ground being too hard and they were the heavy duty pegs. If we had arrived after the maintenance man had left for the day we would not have been able to pitch our awning and I don't know what we would have done with the chairs etc we had our motorhome. Please Vale of Pickering stop compressing the hardcore into the ground, as we have had to purchase more tent pegs. The hard ground was not to due to lack of water. The next site we went to was fine. This has pit us off stopping again, shame because it's a lovely site.
