Tyckte om Absolutely fabulous camp site set well within walking distance of Cheddar Gorge! As an adults only site it was beautifully peaceful. Entering the site you drive over a small bridge that has a river running beneath it, my wife and I both spotted a kingfisher in the first 5 minutes of being there! Staff were super friendly! Facilities were great! The large toilet/shower block by the hard standing pitches felt brand new. We were pitched in “tent field” on a grass non EHU pitch which had its own small facilities of a small toilet block and a wash up which also has a Fridge/Freezer, Kettle and Microwave! Lots of places to walk to dog and dead silent at night! Couldn’t fault the site in any way shape or form! Good job, we look forward to visiting again!

Tyckte om Honestly, what a fab site! Facilities were very clean and showers had great water pressure and were lovely and warm. There isn’t a lot too the site, nice field, a kids play area, small reception/shop, communal fridge and a washing area. Site was nice and quiet and easy to find and very reasonable! Infact 10/10 for value On arrival you are instructed to find a spot around the edge of the field, leaving a 6m gap between pitches. No problem at all! We pitched at the top of the field near the entrance as it was the flattest area we could find. Some of the field is on quite a slope so worth making sure you have leveling ramps Situated close enough to Hastings/Bodium Castle/Rye that you can visit within 20-30 mins max but far enough in the sticks to feel a bit more “Wild” I’m on 02 and had good 4G/5G signal. Deliveroo will deliver to the site (we had pizza express)

Tyckte inte om Lots of camp fires on the ground, with the recent wildfires everywhere I would have expected fire pits. Also didn’t see any fire points (extinguishers etc) Saying that, if it was a wetter month I wouldn’t have even batted an eyelid.

Tyckte om Site was in a lovely location, peaceful and lots of trees. We stayed for the Bristol Balloon Fiesta!

Tyckte inte om Facilities could do with a spruce up. Lights didn’t work and could generally do with a good clean but I understand that the site was at full capacity for the balloon event. Bins needed to be emptied!

Tyckte om Honestly, the nicest camp site I have ever stayed at! Hosts were friendly and left us to it which is perfect! Facilities were super clean, showers were lovely and hot and washing up area was spot on. We were on a non EHU hook up, massive pitch. Neighbours but not too close. Best bit? The site backs straight onto the Tarka Trail and RSPB Isley Marsh! Oh and the whole site has fantastic WiFi which was a nice bonus! Can’t wait to come back!
