Tyckte om Distance to Port of Dover for Channel Ferry.

Tyckte inte om Showers just flood all over the place. It’s a temporary container unit with 2 showers and 2 toilets. The shower tray is raised off the ground but there are no shower curtains to contain the water. Subsequently you step off the shower tray into an inch of water. But plenty of hot water and a normal tap instead of a push button. The washing up sinks both of them did not have the correct size sink plugs and obviously made washing up a bigger chore than it already is.

Tyckte om Clean and tidy and not too big. We had pitch no10. Furthest away from washroom and tucked away in the corner area but that made it quieter as no passing foot traffic. There is a village pub/coffee shop that you can access directly from the site. Limited opening hours but was open when we fancied a drink.

Tyckte inte om It’s a stopover spot for the Harwich to Hook ferry. So a lot of early leavers and late arrivals. Didn’t bother us as we were in the corner but I’d imagine it would be a bit frustrating if you had neighbours on the ferry. A lot of reviews downgrade the wash rooms. I’d have to agree, they are very basic and really need an overhaul.
