Tyckte om Great back to basics site with stunning views. Dog friendly with walking routes straight from site. I didn’t meet the owner but she was very helpful and quick to reply to my messages, giving me detailed guidance on where to go for walks and how to get to the pub. This site was so peaceful, just birdsong and the occasional baa from the sheep. It is a little sun trap so if you would like a little shade I would recommend parking anywhere on the left hand side as you pull in. I thought this was perfect for me and my 2 dogs. I will be back for sure.

Tyckte inte om I wouldn’t say this is a dislike but had to pay extra for the 2nd dog. It was only £4 so not breaking the bank but the first time I’ve been charged extra on a basic camp site.

Tyckte om Great little site that’s dog friendly, you can choose where to park/pitch, clean toilets and fresh drinking water available. The owner came over to say hello and point out the best walking routes. There is a dog friendly pub 30 seconds away over the wall or a 2 minute walk around the corner. There is also a little shop in the pub car park for essentials you may have forgotten. I will definitely return, had a lovely stay.
