Tyckte om The site is well maintained. It is very simple with two toilets, a shower and a washing up station and ‘Recycling’ . It has a relaxed vibe and the sites following approach to certain things attributes to it: You can turn up and pitch your tent where there is space ( there was lots as it’s a big field). Pitch up and down any time you please which really takes the pressure off. Fire pits and wood on site free to use and accessible. Other campers we met were good vibes and easy going. The location is perfect it’s just so peaceful and quiet in the middle of the Cornish country side and a short distance from places of interest to visit. The location is just stunning and we recommend a walk to Crackington Haven from the site, directions provided on the shower room wall.

Tyckte inte om Sadly during our stay the shower was broken so it was just cold water. The recycling could have been more on point with specific bins. There was no freezer option for freezer blocks. We probably would have stayed longer if we could have optimised the use of our cool box. The signage for the site is not very prominent.

Från föreståndaren: Hey guys we're glad you enjoyed your stay and out peaceful site. Just to address the few issues mentioned. We do offer both icepack freezing (there's a self service freezer) and device charging, sorry if this wasn't clear. The shower is now back up and running with plenty of hot water after having the boiler repaired. We have specific bins for general waste, tind and plastic, and glass. Although we do have plans for an improved recycling system for next season. Many Thanks Jake

Tyckte om Site is very basic, grass, showers , toilets and a water tap. We stayed with kids and as the site is very back to basics it seems like a place where people stay as a stop over. I really liked the low key management style all comms on notice boards and an easy set up for purchasing a fire pit. Instructions were clear.

Tyckte om I loved the relaxed and chill atmosphere, very laid back with a rustic feel. The facilities are basic but clean and really that’s all you need. I loved the compost loo’s with its view. Kids loved the wild vibe of the place and could run about freely enjoying the wilderness of the site. Really clear info on recycling your rubbish with clearly labeled boxes for waste types.

Tyckte inte om Signage was a little limited. The site was hard to find and the signs on the entrance were green abscured in green bushes. A fridge would have been a great addition along with the freezer on site for your ice blocks.
