Tyckte om Good cleanliness around the whole site. Plenty of toilets and showers available and the ones I used all were clean and tidy However they could benefit from some high level cleaning e.g a few cobs in the high corners of the showers and around the windows. Enjoyed the food that was on offer in the badgers barn and the onsite shop was well stocked . The kitchen coffee shop serves a good breakfast , sandwiches and cakes. Fishing is available and all the lakes had clearly marked swims and the fish caught were in good condition. Camping pitches are a good size and you don’t feel crowded in. Staff were all polite and friendly . We received a warm welcome when we arrived both at reception and when we arrived at our pitch. Will be making a return trip.

Tyckte om Very well kept site and reasonable priced. Camping pitches were a generous size. Staff were very friendly and Lisa gave us a lovely welcome when we checked in and gave us a good run down about the site and facilities.Unused electricity refunded on check out. Good clean facilities which were kept nice and warm and cleaned to a very good standard. Hubbles restaurant served lovely cooked food throughout most of the day and evening, they even do themed nights. They serve everything from a fantastic breakfast to a most enjoyable Sunday lunch (all of which we sampled). Rondos bar is a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink or two. They have 5 fishing lakes (however the water level was low due to the long dry summer, so was out of Fendicks control). We did fish for 2 days and had a few catches. 2 of the lakes have to be booked so we didn’t try these out. We will definitely return as we had a really enjoyable and relaxing time. Fendicks also host various events throughout the year and whilst we were there they had the Wicked Wheelers bike show on over 2 days which was free of charge and we spent the weekend looking around it and listening to the live music . Would definitely recommend this site as a good base for exploring north Norfolk as well.

Tyckte inte om Only one small thing , it would have been nice to have a plug in the washroom facilities so hairdryers and straighteners could be used whilst having access to the mirrors.

Tyckte om Site very clean and well kept. On site facilities were in good condition and looked after, fishing lake and grounds well maintained. Site had good security with cctv coverage and electronic access to and from the site. Well worth a visit and within easy reach of several towns and walking areas in the Peak District.
