Tyckte om Small quiet field with plenty of shade from the trees in the hot sun while we were there. I think we were lucky that it wasn't busy during our stay, I do wonder how full it gets at peak times.

Tyckte inte om The toilet & shower block has been mentioned many times, and the owners have said it is due an upgrade this summer. It is definitely in need of an upgrade, at the very least, a thorough clean and coat of paint. Shower ran either lava hot or icy cold, no in-between. No instruction on where to camp or set up pitch, and when I tried to contact the owners on their mobile number to confirm if we had a reserved spot, they didn't respond. We took a chance and pitched up where we fancied which turned out to be ok, but it would have been nice to have it confirmed as part of their welcome text.

Tyckte om We really enjoyed our stay at Ponden Mill, it's a lovely small peaceful site, perfect for what we want. It's close to some decent walks, nice villages and towns, and a couple of pubs if you don't fancy cooking. There is even a cafe on site that is open at weekends. The amenities are basic but clean, and everything you need for your stay. The loudest noises we heard during our stay were the sheep, and the stream. Perfection!

Tyckte inte om There's nothing to dislike. The only minor niggle is there only being cold water for the washing up station, boiling some water at our tent resolved that!

Tyckte om Excellent flat site, and plenty of space. Loved the picnic bench on our pitch too. Very quiet and peaceful, had a lovely stay. Snack van morning and evening is a great addition, as is the children's play area and football goals, that are well away from the pitch area. We really appreciated the communal fridge & freezer, and made use of the charging points too. Lots of little extras not found very often.

Tyckte inte om Nothing to dislike. The shower water splashed out of the tray and the floor got soaked, so a duck board would have been appreciated to aid dressing, but that's a minor niggle.
