Tyckte om Lovely quiet campsite, good size pitches. Excellent showers, toilets, kitchen facilities. Great location too

Tyckte inte om The firewood. Don’t mind the charge for a fire pit, but the “basket” of wood for a tenner was not good value. Three pieces of pine, three pieces of birch and a handful of kindling made from treated timber was disappointing. Treated timber should never be burned because of the chemicals it emits.

We take on board your comments regarding firewood and have found another supplier of sustainably sourced firewood which will benefit our guests next season with more wood for your money. You are absolutely right about treated wood being used for kindling... shouldn't happen and we have ensured that the two are kept well separate.
