Tyckte om Beautifully rustic campsite - Immaculate toilet facilities. Didn't use the shower facilities but would hope they'd be the same. Excellent washing up area with sponges/washing up liquid provided. Stunning location with views of Crich Memorial up the hill. Warm welcoming host on arrival - would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Tyckte om This is THE prettiest place I have ever camped. Absolutely stunning, camped right on the side of the river Esk. Portaloos were immaculate and Liz was so lovely and welcoming! Will definitely be staying again!!

Tyckte om The location is stunning, loads of space for walks and we'll spread out pitches. I got there about 3ish, and managed to get a spot overlooking the beautiful views. Super friendly hosts who personally came round to meet everyone. Toilet was immaculate.

Tyckte inte om Could do with more than 1 x toilet, but understand this was only the 2nd night of the campsite being open.

I do agree that the weekend of your stay was a far busier than we were expecting as we had many last minute bookings on the day. So I fully understand the need for a second toilet if its that busy again, and as you say it was only the second weekend of having people stay with us so still learning a lot. We were checking the toilet many times throughout the weekend to make sure it was clean at all times to keep up demand as well. Thank you for the pictures too and hope to see you again soon.

Tyckte om Friendly welcome upon arrival, with easy signposts to know where you're going. We chose the sparrowhawk field which was the closest to the toilet/shower block and very peaceful/quiet. Nice setting with views of the surrounding mountains with people paragliding off them. Shower was hot! And there were plenty of toilets, showers and sinks. Good takeaway available from the Nags Head pub which was about a minutes walk away if that! The cafe on site did a lovely morning coffee/tea to takeaway and their cakes looked amazing. Good selection of walks right on your doorstep, we went up Jacobs ladder along the Pennine Way and did around a 12k circular route without having to drive anywhere. WiFi available, password was inside the cafe.

Tyckte inte om The pizza ovens/eating space on site looked good, but unfortunately was only on during weekends so wasn't open when we visited on a Tuesday. The pushtaps in the women's toilet don't stay on for more than a second meaning you have to hold it down, quite awkward when trying to wash your face.

Tyckte om Great little camp site. Facilities are excellent and clean! Liked that there were hairdryers available in the shower blocks. Reception lady was lovely and friendly too :)
