Tyckte om On arrival the entrance to Deer’s Mead is very nice and the area is very well kept. We had a hard standing area for a caravan although we had a tent as we wanted the electric hook-up but there is a large grassy area for tents. The whole pitch is huge 😊 A really lovely pitch with hedges separating your pitch from others, and it’s very well looked after. The shower block area and toilet facility is fabulous. The showers are incredibly hot and it’s a rain shower type which is lovely. The sinks are individual and it was very clean. I believe the shower block is cleaned twice a day ✅ It is a really lovely campsite 😊

Tyckte inte om Only gripe is the fact the reception area is unmanned but telephone numbers are left if there are any issues. We should have had an email to say which pitch we would be on but hadn’t received this so had to call. All was resolved very quickly though 😊

Tyckte om High Sands Creek is a fabulous campsite. On arrival you are faced with very friendly staff in reception who are keen to help you and get you set up. You receive a map of the campsite which is predominantly on a slope facing the coast so you are set up to see the incredible sunsets. There are also pitches on the flat closer to the fence where they are protected by trees and shrubs, and other flat pitches closer to the top of the slope. Each pitch is rather large 👏🏻 There is plenty of room for bigger tents and cars. Our pitch was B1 near the fence so under a tree (good protection) and closer to a shower block. The shower block and toilets was incredibly clean and kept clean throughout the day 👏🏻👏🏻 There was a good washing up facility/room and a laundry room if needed (both kept very clean). The owners (a couple) were the only workers on site and worked very hard to make our stay pleasurable. If it’s peace n quiet you need, then it may not be for you as the campsite can be full of children BUT the views of the marshland and sunsets totally make up for it 😊 💯 We will definitely return. Thank you ☺️
