Tyckte om Secure gated site with cars parked away from tents so children can play safely. Owner laid back but present and good with children, taking them on the quad bike, letting them feed the animals and supplying equipment for them to play on. Obviously, not 5 star equipment as it's not a 5 star site, but still fun to those of us grateful for the opportunity. 10 minute drive to Southport and even less to retail parks, McDonald's, Tesco and loads more convenient stores. A basic, but pleasant site. More suitable for the down to Earth camper, rather than the home comfort ones. It is easy enough to find, if you do your research and read the information texts from the owner.

Tyckte inte om Just a few things. As mentioned, it's a very basic site, with basic toilets to match, but the shower was nice and hot. Secondly, my family didn't sleep due to the noise from other campers, some till the very early hours of the morning, despite the 11pm rule. Understandably, people are on holiday and having a good time, but it would have been nice if someone could have had a friendly word. And lastly, to no fault of the campsite, the lazy campers who just dumped their crap near the bins, letting it spill every where. Have some respect!

Tyckte om Great views, walking distance to dog friendly pub, necessary facilities were all there. I absolutely loved the showers. Very clever

Tyckte inte om The pitch was sloped slightly. The open washing up area could do with some attention, and the toilet ceilings could do with a clean.

Från föreståndaren: washing area have being upgraded but we are not able to clean up after every camper and some do leave a mess. As for the toilets ceilings we are in the country and spider do live here plus if camper leave the doors open all night migies fly in. (ps why were you lay on the floor looking at the ceiling :) in the loo, most people sit down) you are after all on a country side campsite

Tyckte om Really liked the site. The toilets and showers were clean and warm. The site was really convenient to explore all the local areas and is close to bus stops, which take you into Llangollen and Wrexham and I liked that the owners walk round every morning to check everything is ok. A nice, personal touch.
