Tyckte inte om When we arrived, we were told that a family had exclusive use of the campsite but we could still use the compost loo, tap and shower. The shower was attached to the outdoor kitchen which had all the private belonging of the other family. Plus the shower window prevented any privacy so we did not feel comfortableshowering within view of the family. Any trips for water felt like we were invading the other campers privacy. We were told we did not have access to the kitchen. Instead, on arrival, we were shown a field where we could camp which did not match website photos. I spent a lot of time researching an ideal location and picked this campsite based upon the website photos and details. I should have asked for a partial refund.

Från föreståndaren: Hello, I am so sorry for the confusion over use of kitchen, totally my fault navigating the pitch up website! Pictures of kitchen feature on overall site pics, but it is not for an exclusive pitch. Apologies for any confusion!

Tyckte om The site was secluded, peaceful, spacious and wild. We loved relaxing in the sheltered outdoor area, having access to the well equipped outdoor kitchen and cooking on an open fire. The hot showers amoungst the trees and wildlife was the best wakeup experience.

Tyckte inte om We could not find the ancient stones as we think they were overgrown with bracken. However, we could have rung Shona the campsite owner to advise us. A leaflet on the history of the site would have been interesting to read.

Tyckte om A beautiful site and welcoming host. All facilities were immaculate. The campsite was really peaceful and quiet and we had plenty of space from other campers. Only recommendation I would make is to have some natural light in the kitchen area and maybe a small amount of cutlery in case campers forget to bring their own. I will definately book this site again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
