Dale, Pembrokeshire, Wales
Tomt för husvagn med elektricitet som tillval på gräs
Tyckte om In my previous review, I neglected to mention some other aspects of the site and its location. St Ishmaels has a rich history and several sites of archaeological interest from Bronze Age, Roman, Middle Ages etc and more recent. The site itself has WWII gun emplacements, now used to support military veterans in their recovery. The church dates back to 1100 CE, and is open during the day. A short stroll from the church is Monkhaven Beach, also accessible along the coastal path from the site. St Ishmaels has much to offer, and Coast Path Camping is the perfect site from which to explore it.

Tyckte om This was a wonderful find! We loved it so much we extended our stay (luckily they had space). The site is well signposted from St Ishmaels, and we received a warm welcome on arrival from Flo, Phil and Flynn. There is ample space for pitches, and we were lucky to get prime position with incredible views over the bay. The site - on a working farm with cute, curious cattle and sheep (including some tame hand-reared sheep happy for a cuddle) - offers private access direct onto the coastal path, which is close to secluded Lindsway beach and also to Dale (do check tide tables before you set off, though!). There is also an excellent pub nearby in St Ishmael's (10 min walk), and the fleccsi bus for access to Dale and Marloes, should you prefer not to drive. Facilities include clean, well-stocked toilets and showers, washing space for dishes, drinking water point, EHU option, etc - everything you need. The closest shop (in Dale) has all the basics, with bigger supermarkets further away should you need more. Phil and Flo are exceptional hosts, and Flynn is delightful - playful and friendly - and your stay here is sure to be wonderful!
Tyckte inte om Nowt. Be aware, though, that the site can get breezy as it is right on the coast - great for drying washing, but make sure to hammer tent / awning pegs in well!

Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales
Tomt för husvagn utan elektricitet på gräs och jord
Tyckte om The location - situated on the northwest coast of Anglesey with the most spectacular views, a short walk from beaches and the gastronomic delights of charming Church Bay.
The environment - unspoiled beauty, with plenty of local walking (access to Mynnydd y Garn is a two minute stroll; there are plenty of footpaths on the doorstep, and the Anglesey Coastal Path a short walk away) and opportunities for SUPping, kayaking, cycling etc as takes your fancy. Or you might want to stretch out in the sunshine with a book and just enjoy the quiet, or take a sketch pad or camera to capture the surrounding beauty. Views from anywhere on the site are spectacular, but if you orientate yourself toward the sunset, you will not be disappointed!
The space - the site is enormous, and all of it attractive. Despite being on a hill, there is ample flat terrain for level pitches, and everywhere offers great views. There is no need at all to camp on top of others as there is so much space!
The relaxed vibe - with no prescribed arrival or departure times, you’re not constrained.
The hosts - Huw and Daffyd are such lovely people! They are welcoming and helpful and can’t do enough to make everyone’s stay just perfect!
Tyckte inte om The prices - seriously, for what you’re getting, these prices are just too LOW and while it’s great that it makes it so accessible to anyone wanting to come and stay, for sustainability reasons it would make sense to increase the prices to make it worthwhile for all the time, energy and care invested.

Fairbourne, Gwynedd, Wales
Bryn 2 tomt campingbil, för tält eller för husbilstält med elektricitet som tillval på gräs (10 personer, XXL)
Tyckte om A stone’s throw from Dolgellau, Bwlchgwyn lies just outside the unspoiled seaside hamlet of Fishbourne. A steep, winding track takes you up to the terraced pitches, each with a stunning view over the estuary and toward the distant mountains. The pitches are grassed, level, and well-proportioned, and close to amenities which are clean and sufficient for demand. The staff are lovely, the dogs friendly and relaxed, and there is a lovely atmosphere. It is a short distance to Fishbourne (can be walked) for eating out, or to stroll along the pebbly beach. Highly recommended.
