The site layout, close proximity of shower facilities and refuse area. The pool and entertainment were also very good

The pool was fab!

Palm pitch was horrendous! Avoid this area. We were put right next to the back entrance to the pool and straight across from the park and entertainment. where everybody dumped their cars to go to the evening entertainment so plenty of coming and going. Also the inflatable guy who brought the bouncy castle and other equipment was a big issue for us very noisy at gone 11pm and woke us on a couple of evenings with his truck running non stop. They allowed a tourer to try and pitch behind us one evening on a gravel pitch at gone 10.30 pm and woke us up as it was wheel spinning and revving behind our tent. Which woke us up. I did complain to the site but they didn’t seem to care and just said they were sorry for the inconvenience. The facilities with the toilets and shower blocks weren’t great very smelly and poorly cleaned. The shop struggled to keep the shelves stocked and plenty of empty shelves. We left early because we had enough. I wouldn’t return again.

Took my 8 year old daughter here on a daddy/daughter holiday, I can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for trips to the various beaches, my daughter loved Parrenporth, which we visited several times during our stay. The facilities were great on site and the pool was fantastic. She has already said she wanted to go again next year. She experienced so much during our week stay - next year she wants surfing lessons. We definitely made lasting memories here.

We’ve had a wonderful time at Monkey Tree. The Highlight being evenings at the summer nights bar. The entertainment staff went above and beyond and the children loved the party dances. We were very satisfied with the pitch and facilities especially the swimming pool.

The supermarket could’ve had more choice. We would've liked more fresh produce available.

The pitches were an excellent size. Plenty of space for the 6 man tent, an outside seating space and to park our van.
The site was clean and had lots of facilities e.g. shop, launderette, park, pool, club house and arcade for example.
The toilets and shower rooms were excellent. Very clean and checked regularly.
There was a bus stop just outside the entrance to the site (we didn't use this) and the site was situated nit too far from other tourist destinations such as beaches, towns and slip and slide.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The site was one of the best we have stayed on and will definitely return.

It rained for the first 2 days! 🤣 There were no dislikes about the site. It really is a great site.

Facilities were great pool was clean, showers were good hot water and separate changing room attached to the individual shower, one of the better showers we’ve had when camping. Bar prices were reasonable and the food was nice although the menu was quite limited, there are also takeaways on site where the food was also nice and priced well.
Close to all of the beaches which are absolutely stunning and towns we had an amazing week and the kids enjoyed themselves.

Not too much to dislike, the neighbours are a bit of a hit or miss. But if you’re not an early sleeper and don’t mind noise there is no issue.

Everything was amazing no faults whatsoever and going back the end of the month

Not a negative just a suggestion. The shop was well stocked with friendly staff and fab options on pasties. Just closing at 8pm some nights seemed abit earlie 9pm close would have been fab.
