Camping Bourg Saint Maurice

There's loads to do around here whether you want to get fully active with afternoons of paragliding and whitewater rafting, or take things a bit easier canoeing, kayaking or fishing in the waters nearby. If you're more up for French Alps scenery spectating, try the vistas around Mont Blanc, one of the highest mountain passes in Europe. You could also take a cable car to the Aiguille du Midi; pass along the Col de la Colombière, or wander the shores of Cornu and Anterne lakes, all within day trip distance between an hour and a half to two and a half hours' drive from the site. For the winter months, Camping Bourg Saint Maurice is a mere few minutes by cable car from the famed ski resort of Paradiski. The site is also close to Les Arcs ski resort and within easy day trip distance of La Rosiere, La Plagne, Tignes and Val d'Isere. Espace Killy (at Tignes and Val d'Isere) and San Bernardo (at La Rosiere - La Thuile), all about 30 minutes' drive away. Around 425 kilometres of ski slopes are in the area, at altitudes of between 1,200 and 3,250 metres. There are also 46 kilometres of cross country skiing in Peisey-Vallandry, as well as the Half Pipe snow park with snowshoeing, dog sledding, night skiing, skating, a spa and bowling.
