Tyckte om: This place is very special, having been to over 100 campsites in France, this one is going to be my yearly returner! Accommodation: We stayed in the pod as it's been raining all over France for a couple of weeks and it was so comfortable - we booked another night! There are many good sized private tent pitches or caravans to stay in. Facilities: The showers are clean, hot and well maintained to a high standard. There are plenty of sinks as well as washing machines too. The pool is a good size and the clubhouse is exceptional, with plenty of outside picnic benches with cover for shade in the sun if needed. We watched the Rugby Final in a great atmosphere with good quality drinks on draught, home made fresh pizza and the wine selection is excellent (as you expect when in France), not to forget the ice cream Sundays! Shops There is a local bakery you can walk to for your morning bread and a restaurant too, there are a couple of supermarkets a short drive away (15mins max). The Magic But the thing that makes this place standout is the owners, they are wonderful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, they are not running a business, they are living their dream and it shows, always available, friendly and happy to help you out where they can.

Tyckte om: Friendly welcome and bespoke guidance to choose a pitch The bar/pizza restaurant was really friendly and served great, freshly made food. Toilet and wash areas were immaculately clean. Lovely walks around the site.

Tyckte om: Everything, the site is so beautiful, the hosts Russ and Lorna are very friendly and welcoming , a lovely pool and a bar, excellent homemade pizza’s served in the evenings, occasional live music accompanies their paella evenings, all in all a site that is second to none.

Tyckte om: This is a lovely site with great facilities. Owners are friendly and helpful. The site is well laid out with many really nice pitches. Although we didn’t use it this time the on-site bar, restaurant and pool looked lovely. A short walk to an excellent boulangerie for bread in the morning or to local restaurant. Only stayed two nights on our way north through France but we will certainly stay here again

Tyckte inte om: If I was to be picky the shower temperature was a little low and it was a stretch to reach the electric point (fortunately there was no one using the pitch next door so we were able to run the cable across so no issue in this case. …. but I am being picky, didn’t really dislike anything!

Tyckte om: Loved the campsite - really warm welcome at the bar, great choice of pitches and very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed dinner with lovely view and children loved the swimming pool. Russ kindly booked us in with vet for treatment for dog prior to returning to UK. Walked and cycled from campsite.

Tyckte om: The place was lovely, the owners were great, we would highly recommend a stay. They had a lovely outdoor pool. Extensive grounds surrounded by forest. There was a bar/restaurant which made fantastic pizzas and ice-cream sundaes.
