Tyckte om: We loved the quiet family friendly feel and the kids especially loved this games room & the fishing on the river. The staff were very helpful to us as this was our first trip away in our tourer.

Tyckte om: Wonderful site with great pitches and fabulous showers with a lovely games rooms. Very peaceful yet still close to pub and shops . We will definitely be back . Very welcoming and informative hosts .

Tyckte om: Great welcome and a very tidy site with good gravel pitches although the site is still being developed. Really loved the dog walk area, a large field next to the site which had mown paths around and accross it and benches in a couple of places. Didnt use the toilets or games room so cant comment on them. Really handy for shops, Aldi and Tesco a couple of mins drive away! Definately will be back as a great base for site seeing further afield

Tyckte om: Nice new site in a lovely setting. Toilet and shower facilities absolutely immaculate. Liked that it was only a small touring site. Great location to explore the local area and only 10 minutes drive to town centre Great field adjacent to the touring area for dog walking down next to the river. Very picturesque.

Tyckte inte om: Only minor observation. For a brand new site with only 15 touring pitches, it would have been great to have fully serviced pitches.

As for your suggestion for fully serviced pitches, yes that would be ideal, but we would then have to increase our prices, and we want to keep our pitch fees competitive and as low as possible, so many more people can enjoy our lovely touring site, and the beautiful Scottish scenery. Tyckte om: As relative motorhome newbies trying out a larger van, we visited the area with old family ties. Site easy to find just north of Dumfries. Quick check in and paid balance. Choice of touring pitches as it was quiet. Majority flat so didn’t need to use ramps( thankfully). Power hook up a doddle. The site is very well maintained and spotless as was games room and showers/ toilets. Washer, dryer and pot washing facilities all very handy.

Tyckte om: The place was very clean and well looked after. The owners were very welcoming,friendly and helpful. The site was in an excellent location and felt very safe and secure there.

Tyckte inte om: Would have benefited from more showers but it didn't really cause us a problem.

Tyckte om: Set within farmland on the outskirts of Dumfies so very quiet. Perfectly flat pitches. Tall conifer windbreak hedging. Well appointed playroom, showers and bathroom. Good sesurity.
