Tyckte om Had a lovely stay absolutely beautiful views and the street food was fab - the bar was great - everyone was very friendly- the only issue we had was that there were loads of ants and our tent was crawling with them - shower blocks and toilets were kept clean and tidy

Tyckte inte om Dogs barking all day (maybe neighbouring kennels), expensive for what you get, tent pitch was a grass strip in the middle of the onsite vans, no privacy, dated shower and toilet block, no hot water one morning, not adults only.

Yes there was no hot water one morning but once you alerted me, and after apologizing I checked the boiler and found it was tripped it was reset and you were informed the water would be ready in 2 hours and for that I am truly sorry
Yes there are kennels further up the road but apart from feeding time any noise is rare.
You were offered 2 different touring fields to pitch your tent, you didn't want the large field as there were other tents on that field instead you chose the top field as there were no other tents on it and it had trees for shade on a very hot day, the pitch you selected was 9mt by 45mt of well kept level grass so I don't understand your issue with it.
The low scores for cleanliness and customer service were particularly bothering considering the other reviews of 10/10 that weekend given from other guests on here and booking.com
Our staff work really hard to provide an environment for you to have a nice holiday and I am sorry if we didn't reach your expectations but I suppose we can't suit everyone.

Tyckte om Excellent view over the valley, a reasonable walk to langport. A great slinky bus service.

Tyckte inte om Bar only open on weekends, but doesnt state that. More for permanent residents than for campers on hols.

I am sorry Bowdens Crest Holiday Park was not to your liking. I am at a loss for the low scoring particularly on cleanliness as we usually score 10/10 especially as there was no incident reported. We do pride ourselves on the standard of cleanliness.

Tyckte om We had a weekend in the pods at Bowdens Crest luxury holiday park. Perfect views and lovely decking and BBQ area. Great community bar on site with super friendly locals. Stan gave a perfect introduction and understanding of all the amenities. Added bonus was the dog walking park. A real gem thank you.

Tyckte om Absolutely beautiful place to stay we stayed 2 nights in a pod but could have easily stayed longer. The toilet/ showers were always spotless the whole place was immaculately kept. The views from our pod were amazing you could see for miles. Stan the owner was so friendly and welcoming the whole place has a beautiful calmness about it will definitely be back😁

Tyckte inte om This is really picky but I would have liked to have been able to change the water temperature in the shower as it was too hot for my liking, especially on a very hot weekend. However, the shower facilities were great overall.

Tyckte om Beautiful views from the pod. Great facilties. Great bar with visiting fish and chip van. Clean and warm shower room and toilets. Peaceful. Everyone so friendly.

Tyckte om The site is wonderfully situated, clean and well equipped. The camping pod was warm, comfortable and afforded us great views of the Somerset countryside. Stan was welcoming, and gave us a few fine nuggets of local history that ensured we were looking for Dragon Eggs and musket balls when we went for our walk the following day. Sadly we didn't find a trace of either, but the countryside was beautiful, the weather was very kind. One word of caution... when Stan earns about the nearby walk that includes a rope to assist up or down the slope, he's not exaggerating. But it's easier to go up than down.

It is very much a dog friendly site and that sometimes means barking but most owners are very considerate and will do their best to keep them quiet.
