Ouse Meadow Campsite

Tyckte om We had a very peaceful stay. Just what we needed - clean toilets, badminton nets, table tennis, lots of space for children to play cricket/football. They loved the rope swings and it’s a great location for walks. We hired a fire pit and the fire wood you can buy is a very generous amount.

Tyckte om Open space, relaxed atmosphere, lovely coffee van. Helpful staff. Close to bluebell railway and Sheffield Park. The site is very large with lots of space to pitch. There are badminton nets and table tennis dotted around so lots of activities to do.

Tyckte inte om Toilets are very dark at night but okay if you remember to take a torch! No washing up facilities however there are washing up bowls and liquid provided so you can still do it.

Tyckte om Really lovely site with thoughtful touches like decent loo roll, washing up liquid/sponges plus ping pong, badminton and volleyball nets. It was quite busy but the field large enough that you didn’t notice. Really friendly campsite manager. Lots of young families and walks accessible from the site.

Tyckte inte om The logs on the second night we bought weren’t quite dry enough so were very smoky. The first nights had no issues at all so maybe just bad luck.

Tyckte om Lovely campsite. Really beautiful and very spacious pitches with everything you could need. Great open air showers and clean toilets. Lovely host who also came round with logs to buy. Great extra with a coffee hut and bar on the weekends.

Tyckte om Good meadow with beautiful views over fields, clean toilets and warm water showers . Friendly owner popped into our field with logs and help if needed.

Tyckte om Nice site, friendly and welcoming. Enjoyable stay with friends, plenty of space. Toilet block kept clean and restocked, showers nice and large and hot water. Washing up area, great supplies, bowls, liquid and sponges.
Took a little look at bluebell railway, walked to Newick, lovely walk, fab cafe.
A great weekend was had, many many thanks.

Also weekend bar, pizza, coffee mornings available.

Some gateways could do with vegetation trimming, but these things grow….

Tyckte om Loved this site. Had a large pitch next to river. Coffee cart with fantastic pastries for breakfast. Outdoor showers with loads of hot water. Rope swings, large field for ball games and table tennis. Generous bag of wood for bonfires in the evening. Very helpful staff.

Tyckte om The site owner is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The pitches are perfect and very spacious. The site is surrounded by amazing country side for long walks with the dog. The blue bell steam trains are just opposite so it's lovely to hear the whistles blowing in the distance.
Fire wood and fire pits can be purchased from the site owner so you can roast marshmallows around a campfire.
Coffee van in the morning on weekends is perfect, can grab a coffee and croissant.
I've visited this site several times and it never disappoints and I will definitely visit here again.
