Tyckte om We stayed in the pod. Excellent little set up with a fridge and a kettle and underfloor heating-much appreciated since the weather was awful! Small pitch, there were only two other families on at the same time as us, and they left after the first night, so for the second night we were on our own. The pub was brilliant, we had Sunday lunch there which was absolutely delicious, and the land lady was kind enough to lend us some cups as I had forgotten ours! Felt very safe and the kids had plenty of room to play. There’s a play park across the road and the beach is a ten minute walk down the road. We stayed for two nights and the kids didn’t want to leave! Will definitely book here again!
Tyckte inte om The only downside was the toilet/shower room was very cold and there was only one, not really a problem as it wasn’t very busy and wouldn’t put me off staying again. And the WiFi didn’t work either-we were warned about this when checking in though, and we were told that because of the weather it probably wouldn’t work-again not really an issue as it gave us all some device free family time!

We are a really small site and we try and make the facilities/description as accurate as possible and I am sorry if you were disappointed on your visit.

Tyckte om Secluded; near beach. Neat, well kept sanitary. Lots of farm animals nearby. Nearby pub was very good, friendly people. Be aware of the closed days, since there is nothing else in the village.

A great place in peaceful country surroundings, close to the coast.

Tyckte om Wow, what a great little capsite. The Camping pod was lovely, and heated prior to arrival which was a nice little touch. The shower and toilet where all nice and clean. Really was nothing to complain about. I was just shocked that we had the entire site to ourselves.
The site is at the rear of the pub, which is where me and my partner headed for our evening meal. Booking is highly recommended as it does get busy. After a look at the menu we both settled on the steak. And what a steak it was. Perfectly cooked, and a huge portion of chips and freshly made onion rings. Luckily saved space for the deserts as well.
The staff onsite and in the pub are polite and friendly, and all happy to help if needed. If you have children, there is a play park just opposite the site entrance.
Already planning on returning again next year.

Tyckte om We loved the whole stay! Beautiful site in a lovely working farm village. 10 min walk to the sea, good play area for the kids, clean facilities and fab food and drink in the pub. Staff were all chatty and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Tyckte om The location was close to the coast and Ideal for travel to the lakes. The Lowther Arms pub was perfect right beside the campsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Tyckte inte om Only problem was the toilet and shower gets busy when the campsite gets full and often had to wait . But when the pub is open the toilets are available
