Peaceful and scenic, Aqueduct Marina and Caravan Park is a prime destination for anyone who adores the countryside. Based on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal in Church Minshull, the Cheshire park also has a great set of marina facilities. Visit the award-winning marina’s licensed café and picnic areas to unwind. Set on a 100-acre plot, guests can also watch the wildlife or take a walk along the towpath. There are also showers and 24-hour laundry facilities. For activities outside of the park, there are many shops, cafés and pubs in the market town Nantwich, which is a five-mile drive away. There’s also easy access to the M6 and the B5074 in Church Minshull. Families, couples, small groups and dogs are all welcome at the site.

Tyckte om: Nice to have coffee shop and to be able to the boat, but limited options at shop.

Tyckte inte om: Ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t stay longer. More work could be done to make the pitches more pleasant.

Tyckte om: The pitches were spacious and level. Cafe was good, with a variety of choice. Toilets and showers clean.

Tyckte om: Beautiful site. Quiet and peaceful. A bonus having the marina and canal. We didn’t eat in the cafe but staff were more than helpful when asked about the food.

Tyckte om: We really liked everything about the site. The facilities were good. Toilets and showers are clean, comfortable and working well. The setting is lovely with the narrow boats mored were great to look at, and the canal was pretty and peaceful. We had a nice meal in the cafe/restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. So glad we're booked in for our return journey from Scotland. The perfectly level pitches and great wifi were an added bonus..

Tyckte om: Everything lovely quiet site with some lovely walks nearby around the boats and along aqua duct, local pubs near by , lovely on site cafe , showers were basic but very adequate and very clean , pitches were very large ,you will need metal ground pegs if taking awning , grass to rear of pitch where you can sit and set bbq up most pitches have own water tap so if site quiet you could hook up your hose if you wished site clean and tidy will definitely be retuning 100%

Tyckte om: Large fully serviced hardstanding pitch which was pretty level, quite beautiful scenery with lovely walks , handy guide at reception and the cafe was really good, first time a 7pm close on a Saturday to see how it goes which is nice for afternoon sitting outside with a cheeky drink 🍸 before dinner,The long boats are amazing. We had a problem when we landed with a tap in our motorhome water everywhere and the lovely lady in the chandrey managed to source two large stoppers to use so we were able to use the other taps and shower a big thank you 😊

Lokala sevärdheter

Aqueduct Marina and Caravan Park's Cheshire location and easy access from the M6 means it's in a most handy spot to get to heaps of tourist attractions around this part of the north west and Chester. A popular option in the area is Oulton Park, the racing track in the little village of Budworth that bills itself as the most picturesque track in all the land, or you could hike around the wilds of nearby Delamere Forest, or stick to lazy days and potter around small Cheshire villages like Tattenhall and Tarporley. Chester is also easily accessible from the caravan park and has heaps to see among its old streets and swish shops. Animal fans make their way to Chester Zoo on the outskirts of the city to see as many as possible of its 12,000+ animals and over 400 species; if nature is your animalish thing, also get along to the Blue Planet Aquarium and its 100 or so living displays including the biggest school of sharks in Europe. Green fingered? Clear the car boot and drive over to Bridgemere, one of the biggest garden centres in the world and with all things gardenlike as well as toys and clothes in its mammoth shopping centre.
