Tyckte inte om £30 for 1 night in March is too expensive. Facilities were very basic, toilet, sink and a small patch of land to pitch on, which ordinarily is fine, but at £30 you expect a bit more. I've stayed in hostels for less and gotten a lot more. Toilet door opens towards the toilet and the space is very small so you will likely get stuck trying to open/close the door.

Tyckte om Reasonable site with good clean facilities. Lots of hot water in showers. Welcoming host who offered local info.

Tyckte inte om Only downside is the pitches are a bit narrow which leaves you walking on grass instead of hard standing…so shoes get muddy in these winter wet conditions.

Tyckte om Nice site, reasonably close to Cambridge by either public transport , car or even bicycle.
Nice pub about 5-10 minutes walk away with a Dobbies Garden centre a few minutes further on which has a restaurant.

Tyckte inte om I imagine the showers could get busy if the site was full. Whilst there were a number of caravans on site they looked unoccupied and I wonder if they were used by contractors during the week.
Some pitches required a very long EHU cable. My cable would not stretch to the socket from my first pitch, number 10, but a quick call to Tony got my pitch changed.
A bit of riad noise from the A10 but nothing too intrusive.
I consider £36 per night, including EHU to be a bit expensive but it is probably due to the proximity to Cambridge.

Tyckte om Budget site, tidily presented, with pleasing aspect across pond and stream, surrounded by grass and trees. Convenient location - 15 minute walk across fields and through village to Shepreth rail station for rapid train to Cambridge and all the delights there - it's what we came for. Also, it's a pleasantly small site, mostly out of earshot of the A10, and in winter with few others there, it wasn't crowded.

Tyckte inte om The toilet and shower blocks clean, but possibly least inviting of any we have used anywhere. Facilities need an upgrade. Electric shower produced a thin stream of mainly lukewarm water. Toilet cubicle is so small, it needs agility to enter the space and close the door. No legitimate place on site to dispose of grey water. Beware - at times it is challenging to exit onto A10 owing to volume of traffic. 16amp electricity supply, but regular trip-outs (we tour regularly and have not had this issue elsewhere).

Tyckte om Nice and quiet, a good size pitch, , and a 5 minutes away from the nearest pub, will open fire and very good food

Tyckte om Easy to access site in a perfect location to visit Cambridge and the surrounding areas. The site has good facilities if you require them, and the on-site team were very helpful and friendly.
