Whixall Marina

Tyckte om: Idyllic, peaceful location. The hut was very clean and suited our needs. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely watching the wildlife and boats on the canal. There is a cafe on site, food very good. Lots of nearby canal walks. Hot showers and toilet block not too far away. Really enjoyed our stay.

Tyckte om: Everything about the place it was just perfect .. quiet and super peaceful and laid back.. huts not far at all from shower and toilet facilities in which we practically had to ourselves they were clean with hot showers.. huts were clean and warm with everything we needed for our stay.. huts overlook the canal nice to sit early morning outside and watch the boats pass by peacefully.. excellent location for walks a cafe on site serving lovely food almost home from home feels... Will almost definitely be staying again very soon .

Tyckte inte om: Nothing WiFi signal was poor and signal too but you could get WiFi from the marina cafe I still thought was poor signal but I enjoyed the fact I could switch off from the world

Tyckte om: The location by the canal was lovely. The firepit, logs and firelighters. Bed very comfy. Thank you for the relaxed check out time. It was lovely not to have to rush.

Tyckte inte om: A bit of privacy between each hut would be nice. A bedside table each side of the bed would be useful especially for my cup of tea in bed. I personally don't like a lot of cushions. They look good but then you have to find a place for them when you take them off the bed and they end up on the floor which is a shame.

Tyckte om: Shepherds hut was lovely had everything you needed .spotlessly clean . And such a lovely outlook over the canal. So peaceful. Staff so friendly .would love to return. Toilets and shower very clean.great walks on your doorstep. Dog friendly

Tyckte om: I LOVE my Shepherd's hut atWhixall marina! This is my third stay and it is perfect every time. I feel safe and relaxed and don't want to leave. The facilities are clean, staff super friendly and helpful. It is great value for a two-night escape. Close to great walks and safe cycling. Wildlife and local area are fabulous to explore. There is a station just 2 miles away so easy to walk or cycle to.

Tyckte inte om: I would love it if they provided bedding and towels so that I could travel really light and arrive by bike.

Tyckte om: Peacefulness and tranquility of the site. I felt very safe and this was my 2nd visit. Clean and simple accommodation with everything I needed. Friendly, helpful staff if I needed them, clean toilets and showers. Great value for money. Great access to walks and cycling routes. I would highly recommend this site as one of my favourite places to escape to.
