Tyckte om This is the coziest and accommodating camp site I’ve had the pleasure of staying at.

I am doing an extended cycle trip through Europe and after a week on the road, stopped here for what was initially planned as a single overnight stay before heading to the coast. I was so taken by this place, I extended my stay another 2 nights.

The host Susan is the best host - EXCEPTIONALLY caring, helpful, supportive, and accommodating. She took me on a tour of the property and recommended many other local spots that may be helpful as a touring cyclist.

The site itself is a perfect blend of quiet country camping and cozy cottage travel. In addition to a campground equipped with bathrooms, simple shower, dish washing station, fresh water, electric and non-electric grass pitches, and wifi, there is also a lovely wood paneled den on property with armchairs, carpet, and a fully stocked tea station (biscoff restocked daily). They also have a kettle, microwave, and toaster.

Susan has gone above and beyond providing the creature comforts without sacrificing the sanctity and charm of the British country side.

It will be a must stop on any other voyages out this way and I can only hope that other sites along my journey are this affordable and hospitable!

Tyckte om The site was lovely, nice and peaceful! My children were able to roam freely and explore. The owners were fantastic and very helpful, we will definitely be back again!

Tyckte om The big clear sky at night so did some stars watching. the host was very friendly and helpful.the amenities where 1st class,just so quiet and relaxing would definitely recommend and will be definitely going back.

This site is a little gem we loved staying here Susan and Mick are so welcoming and helpful there's everything you need here for a quiet relaxing time we loved hearing all the birds and seeing all the wildlife Susan gave us lots of information about the local area and walks for us to take the puppy we will definitely be staying here again

Tyckte om Cute little pitch site.
Clean and safe for the kids to play around.
Lots of toys left on the camp like swing ball and tennis rackets for the kids to play with.
We were given plenty of room for our family of 5 and asked where we would like to pitch.
Nothing was too much trouble, all they asked that noise was lowered to wispers after 11pm.
Provided us a fire pit and wood for a little extra cost. Which we thought was great!
Has a cute little cubby kitchen and a summer house with everything needed in it.
Great views of the sunset on the back fields.
Was shown around on arrival everyone on site was lovely and polite.
Genuine hard working couple.

Tyckte inte om The window on the toilet door was a little invasive. You can’t be seen unless someone really wants to look but I think this would benefit from being covered with reflective film. Showering facility is very basic but does its job.

Tyckte om Everything, lovely site, beautiful and quiet. Looks tiny when you get there but it's got lovely quirky little spots for more peaceful camping. Could hire a firepit and buy logs on site. They had some outdoor toys for the kids to play with. Couple who ran the site couldn't of been any nicer and more helpful.
Definitely recommend.

Tyckte om Lovey little campsite. Perfect for cyclists using the no. 1 cycle route. Had a great set up for cyclists - kettle, microwave phone charging and somewhere to sit on wet evenings.
Also loved the shower in a tent.. brilliant.
Site owner was lovely, couldn’t do enough.

Tyckte om Great customer service, the owners are always so helpful, we wanted a quiet spot for the dogs and was provided with one and electric provided to it also. Quiet night, Great facilities, we used the microwave, which came in handy and the toilet. Will visit again.
