Tyckte om: Beautiful site with great views. Super fully enclosed dog exercise area - Jack loved being able to chase his ball and have a good run off lead. Security gates to the site give an air of feeling safe. Did not use the toilets/ shower facility but had a look round and very impressed with the facility and cleanliness. We would definately stay here again if in the area. Wi-Fi was available at a charge but very reasonable.

Tyckte om: Probably the cleanest tidiest site we’ve ever stayed on ,fantastic chill out , owner Pip was brilliant , nothing was too much trouble from arrival to departure ,stayed for 3 nights over bank holiday

Tyckte om: The site is spotlessly clean, with spacious pitches overlooking the lake. Pip, the owner and site manager is very friendly and helpful, and provided local information which enabled us to get a very reasonably priced taxi home from the local pub, to which we had walked (4km walk). A very relaxing stay, with superb facilities by way of the shower and toilet block, as well as a very reliable electric, water and waste supply. This site is within easy reach of Monmouth and Abergavenny, as well as Tintern Abbey, all worthy a visit, so you are spoilt for choice if you want to go out, or else you can spend your days relaxing in the sunshine looking over the lake.

Tyckte inte om: It's sited on a working farm, so if you are expecting absolute tranquility, be aware that there will therefore be occasional farm traffic noise. Not a complaint or dislike, but worth informing others, to manage expectations!|This may not be an issue for those sited further away from the farm, as it's a big site, but it's a small price to pay if you want to be located near to the showers and loos.

Tyckte om: The setting is beautiful, site immaculate, clean neat, quiet.
Dog field was greatly enjoyed for all its new varied smells, as was the fishing lake with its wild life.
I needed to use my scooter larger wheeled! to get about but no problem.

Tyckte inte om: Not a dislike, as paid for WiFi which enabled us to watch tv on laptop, as no phone signal at all which was quite pleasant for a few days

Tyckte om: Fabulous scenery, lovely site. Facilities were spotlessly clean. Secure site, quiet, peaceful, ideal to get away from the hustle and bustle. No children was a plus for us!

Tyckte inte om: Nothing to dislike! Access roads can be a little narrow in places but the local motorists are courteous. We did have a large twin axle outfit though.

Adult only so very quiet
Everyone friendly - both owners and other campers
Toilets and showers clean and warm
Pippa and Will very helpful and available at all times - Pippa very conscious about the site and works very hard to ensure all campers are satisfied but also that everything runs as it should
Fishing lake is perfect

Tyckte om: What a fantastic campsite. On arrival I met Pip the owner, who was very helpful and gave us a printout of all important information that we needed to know and useful information about local amenities and showed us to our pitch. It had everything we needed, a fabulous clean and well maintained shower block, hot showers, plenty of room by the showers for all your stuff so you didn't have to worry about it getting wet, never ran out of loo roll or hand wash and the loos didn't have the your typical camping daddy long legs flying about in them.
It's a lovely peaceful campsite too, you're not pitched on top of each other and have lots of room around your tent so you don't hear the conversations from your neighbours.
We had our dog Freda with us, who loved making use of the 2 acre dog pen.
From here we visited Ross-on-Wye to go paddleboarding on the River Wye and the following day to have a wonder around the town. I feel though that there is so much more to visit around the area and would love to stay again for a longer duration.

Tyckte inte om: Was a bit of a trek to the loos, did get good at planning strategic wees and kept an eye on when I had my last drink at night to avoid having to get up in the night to go😆
