Tyckte om Glamping pod was awesome!! Clean and well designed, we really enjoyed our stay. Just what we needed as a base to visit Alton Towers.

Tyckte om Although I didn't need it, the childrens play area was well thought out, had plenty for them to do and is large enough to cope with plenty of kids.

Availability of the indoor swimming pool

Tyckte inte om The casual camping field is on a reasonable slope set away from the facilities, it can take quite a while to walk to them, especially if camping on the far side of the field.
The facilities themselves are insufficient for the amount of people camping and in the pods. There are only 4 showers and 5 cubicles. The showers don't stay on long enough, even if you are trying to save water. There are no seating or shelves in the shower cubicles, just a hook for all your clothes and stuff.
There is only one water tap on the camping field, set at one corner.
The security barrier is never lowered, even during the night.
There is very limited lighting so walking at night can be treacherous.
Toilets were not cleaned often enough and covered in toilet roll, when there was any.
I am sorry to say but this site is not set up for casual camping at all, it appears that it is set up to be a money making exercise only

Seems like a good idea but the open bin attracts hundreds of wasps.

Bin should be outside the play area and fully sealed.

Could do with a toilet block at the top tent pitch.
Nothing special needed just a toilet as can be a trek if needed at night.

Tyckte om Loved the quiet nature of the place. Lots of space for kids to run about
The pool is a great extra- it did seem to be very strong in chlorine though.

Tyckte inte om Our pod was very very basic. It was right next to the road too our dogs weren’t ever allowed to be without a lead. There was nothing to do on the site and the pool was closed. A kettle in the pod would have been nice for a morning cuppa

Tyckte inte om This site cost considerably more than similar sites in the area, but we were happy to pay a premium for a swimming pool. The pool was closed the first day, we were reassured it would be open the second day - it wasn't.
Every single cubicle in the ladies and gents toilets were without toilet paper for the entirety of one morning (Saturday).

Tyckte om Nice and clean site. Children loved the park. Shop was okay. Nice little pork/chips hut open on a few of the nights.

Tyckte inte om Swimming pool is a hit and miss due to only allowing 24 in at time. The pool was out of order the day we was due to go because of the water. The site could have let guests know but instead they waiting untill children were dressed and at the door before knowing we was unable to use it. More signage is needed to find reception. Women on reception need to smile more and be more welcoming. Cost for WiFi is too much. £8 a day!!
