Понравилось We arrived at site early afternoon. And treated the the owners daughter who was very friendly and gave us a choice of 2 pitches 1 near the lake and 1 near the only toilet block, we decided to take the one near the lake as we were fishing. Wish we had taken the one near the toilet now! Oh well that was our fault. The site was lovely the grass was well kept and we caught a few fish. The toilet and shower block was immaculate and hot with great pressure.

Не понравилось There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing I would like too see on the booking is that 30m minimum electric cable.

Понравилось The location was lovley. We loved watching the planes east Midlands airport very close. The site was nice and maintained to a reasonable standard. Access to places of interest within driving distance, Calke Abbey, staunton harrold reservoir and house. National Arboretum.

Не понравилось The toilet block needs an upgrade sticky door hole in the floor gaping gap on the shower door. The ground was uneven. Dogs should be kept on a lead except the owners dog who got aggressive towards my dog. Woods you cant walk in. Fishing ponds with strict rules. The smell of recreational drugs at all hours of the day.

От менеджера: Good morning Richard I am sorry there are rules in place to follow on the site and on the fishing lake but it is for health and safety reasons Why did you not report to the staff about the smell of drugs then something could have been actioned about this as there were children on site all bank holiday The toilet block is being refurbished at the end of the season but I do thank you for your comments Kind regards springwood team

Понравилось From the moment we booked the communication was excellent even the email on arrival was great, explaining everything even walk routes around the area. Kelly met us on arrival and showed us to our pitch and got our electric up and running (pay go). Toilet/shower/ washing up area decorated and clean to a 5 🌟 standard, also with a dog/boot wash great idea!!! The whole site is tidy and well maintained. The site is situated in a secluded area which is very quiet and tranquil a good place to reflect. The added advantage is the reasonable sized fishing lake which we thoroughly enjoyed for a couple of days catching; rudd, roach and a few varieties of carp. Fresh eggs are available from the free range chickens (locked up in there cozy homes due to bird flu at presant) . We felt like part of the family from the first day. Kelly and Nick are good hostes and very friendly.

Не понравилось The weather very wet but other than that there's nothing to dislike at all.

Понравилось This was our 2nd stay at fendicks, even tho if we are in the area we call for coffee/breakfast in hubbles restaurant which is amazing. After being shown our pitch we was not bothered all the time we was their but staff always around for help and questions. The fishing was great as per. I'd like to also say that the new shower block is a very good addition between lake 4 and 5. The music from the rallee Friday pm was great entertainment from our tent and stopped at a reasonable time.

Не понравилось The dam eel I caught in lake 5 grrr. But still nothing to dislike.

Понравилось Great welcome on our arrival, safe and secure coded gate entry. Large pitch was huge plenty of room. Shower and toilets cleaned twice daily with hot water and uptodate facilities. Fishing on site catching carp from a few lb upwards. Locally sourced fish and chips on Friday evening and Sundays roasts and some events throughout the year.

Понравилось Really nice organised site with amazing toilets and shower block always clean and smelling fresh....friendly staff ..beautiful area. Fishing is OK for beginners if you want to catch small stuff

Не понравилось The ground was really hard for the tent pegs ( have to buy more as there all bent now )

Понравилось The site was well maintained, toilets was clean and tidy. Short walk to the village with shop and post-office pub at the top of the camp site. Will be back to catch the ghost carp that played us for 2 days.

Не понравилось We didn't really dislike anything except the small waLk to the fishing pond/lake and the confusion on were to pay for fishing.

Понравилось Amazing site. Clean and tidy clean shower and toilet block. Good value for money. Fishing was really good pay for the day and fish as and when you want during that time Definitely going again
