Понравилось The atmosphere on site, the warm welcome received, spectacular views of the countryside from the site. Old Plough pub is a couple of minutes drive, although I would say that it's not a particularly safe walk. Facilities are excellent, with very clean toilets, showers and dishwashing area. There is also access to a washing machine and dryer. For children, there's a small playpark and a range of domestic pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs and horses.

Не понравилось Only 1 aspect which is the access lane to the site is very narrow, giving the impression of a farm track. Otherwise, no negatives.

Понравилось Fairly spacious pitches, peaceful rural location, friendly atmosphere on camp. We're unable to comment on the on-site facilities as we didn't use them but the adjacent pub had a great rage of drinks available at competitive prices.

Понравилось Very well laid out site, with suitably sized pitches, in an area with views across open fields and pleasant riverside walks. Check in was simple, where your pitch was displayed on a board at the entrance and you just found your allocated spot and set up. Having a pub nearby was handy, although we hadn't realised that they close early on Sundays (our stay was during Easter weekend,) but it certainly didn't affect the stay. The site is pet friendly with a dog walking field. In the nearby village, which is a short 5 minute drive away, there's a small convenience store, a chip shop, 2 further very good pubs and a couple of very pleasant café/ tearooms. Oh and Pettits Adventure Park is also just up the road.

Не понравилось Toilet block is not suitable for disabled; to access it involves climbing 3 very steep steps so I feel that the addition of a ramp could be beneficial. Also, the shower cubicles could do with a separating partition and maybe a folding seat. Some of the lighting wasn't working so it left areas of the site quite dark.

Понравилось Well maintained level pitches, very clean facilities including plenty of water points, extremely helpful staff, occasional food vans attending sites, views from around the site.

Не понравилось The location is on the outskirts of the village, via a single track road, and is not well lit, making it quite perilous when walking to and from the village in the dark.

Понравилось Field layout, having a shop on site, toilets and showers were very clean and well laid out. Great access to Fleet Lagoon, although not permitted to swim in it. Restaurant was very good and our meals were excellent, including my partner's vegan dinner.

Не понравилось Found the prices very expensive (+£7 for a glass of red wine,) although this did seem to be about average for the area. The entertainment venue, The Barn, was far too small for the number of guests staying on site so on a couple of occasions, having found no where to sit, we headed back to our tent. Reception failed to provide all information on our arrival so on the second day, we found ourselves stuck outside the campsite without the barrier code. Staff were very helpful once we explained that we hadn't been told originally.

Понравилось Excellent facilities on site, great location providing access to some great local tourist spots such as Brixham Harbour, and most importantly, the very warm welcome.

Понравилось Very welcoming campsite, homely and friendly. The campsite itself had a great feeling of community where everyone got on really well. The hosts couldn't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. The local countryside was breathtaking and there are some wonderful places to visit, such as RAF Holmpton Bunker and Spurn Point. The site had all necessary amenities and was very well maintained. Overall, we experienced a wonderful week and would certainly consider going back again.

Не понравилось We were a little concerned when we arrived to see that the facilities were shared, that is one kitchen, toilet, shower across 7 pitches. But in reality, this situation didn't cause a problem as everyone was very willing to stagger their use. Couldn't really find anything else negative to comment on.
