Понравилось Wonderful location and site. this was our first visit and found the site to be clean, tidy with great facilities for all members of the family. the shop, snack bar, bar and mini golf all used and happy with. Overall we had a wonderful stay and happy to return subject to addressing niggles.

Не понравилось More of a niggle was we had private facilities but had a shower that continued to overflow into the unit, maintained came but what they did was not effective as it continued to not drain correctly. also there is no outside light for the washing up or area to put plates to drain so was difficult. all reported but nothing sorted. this was a disappointment as we paid extra for this facility. Also lack of signage to reception resulted in going to wrong reception so needs attention.

Понравилось This was our second stay at Twin Lakes and not disappointed, the site is relaxed super friendly site with space and lovey restaurant, the owners were very welcoming. Great site for travelling with pets as they were able to walk free around top lake. Decent WiFi at pitch, nice bar that also sells UK beer. if you have a bike the supermarket and local town is about 15 to 20mins ride on back roads. There is a section where people own holiday homes and they are also super friendly and even did a charity raffle while we were there.

Не понравилось Dislike or niggle was water points had hoses that kept popping off, and the far one was cut off completely so had to use main one that had multiple connections to other units, if changed each point to fixed stand pipes with two taps at each point, it would solve the problem and enable water access to both points. or install more water points?

Понравилось This was a lovely site with good clean facilities. There only appeared to be one person who spoke English but in todays environment google translate worked OK. That said the owner was extremely pleasant and friendly. We did not eat there but did sample a drink or two, also the pool. The site was quiet as not many people there, think this was due to the heatwave but this suited us.

Не понравилось The pitches are a little narrow, not level and you have to be careful of overhanging tree branches if you have a motorhome, although does provide good shade. the pool surround needs a good weeding and if the site was busy it has only limited showers and toilets so limited if busy. you are also quite remote and about 40 min bike ride to nearest supermarket. the only other comment is you are near a busy road so mindful of some traffic noise at times but not really affecting you that much.

Понравилось The location, facilities were good with toilets, showers and washing up areas clean and roomy, and was pleasantly surprised with the site overall, and they even had a kettle, microwave and fridge for use if needed. We had a shaded pitch, which was welcomed as the country was experiencing a bit of a heatwave. we only used as an overnight stop but it has lovely walks along the river and close to town and local bakery, would return or use again

Не понравилось Reception was closed on arrival when it stated as open, so had to call to book in, also once booked in the reception was not manned, which also meant that the shop was not open. this was more of a niggle and did not affect our stay. Also not appear to have Wifi although did not affect us

We enjoyed it that much we booked another stay on our return journey.

Не понравилось The shop is basic and they do not do fresh bread in the mornings, that said you are only a short bike or car ride away. The shower and toilet blocks could do with more space to hang clothes etc but not a show stopper. Понравилось Quiet location, pitch sizes great, s9me you may need extra length to get to. Owners make you feel welcome and are very layer back, shop Limited but all you need including great local beers

Не понравилось Shower blocked dirty, pitches cramped and small, not built to accommodate motorhomes , certainly not one my size, staff unhelpful, crammed in.like sardines and very noisy. Booked two nights but left after one, had a call to ask if we had left and when I said why they just said oh thanks no apology or nothing

Понравилось close to supermarket and pizza place, the pool was nice but beware they do not allow swimming shorts you have to have French style swimming attire.

Не понравилось The site in general looked very tired and run down, the facilities were cleaned but the pitches and grounds did not appear to be looked after. We had a meal first night and had beer glass broken by person serving, no apology just moved to another table and left smelling of beer. There is no one at reception so had to call to get in and although the stay was reasonable it's the only site, we stayed at in three weeks of touring that we felt unwelcome.
