Ease of arrival/check in as not busy at all, but plenty of people around in caravans and a few of tents. Very peaceful site with clean showers and loads of hot water. Not much road or railway noise at all and heard tawny owls. Ground very gently sloping on far side of walled area- not quite flat but as good as and looking out at a field. Really near Bangor for amenities and the Menai Bridge, but far enough away to feel rural.

We couldn’t get our electric hook up to work but that may have been our own electric socket that was at fault. Washing up area on second field wasn’t great but could probably have found one on the walled field.

Excellent location best pitches within the walls. We had a pitch outside the wall as inside was full. Facilities are excellent this is an ongoing project for the owners facilities outside the wall not good at the moment but not a problem just use shower and toilet within the walls. Made to feel very welcome and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good location for Anglesey within easy walking distance. Would definitely return.

Showers a little cramped and water didnt seem to last long although all free and clean.

Absolutely loved staying here I would recommend it for any group of friends! Me and my pals went for a little trip together for my birthday- we’re a big group but not a particularly rowdy one and we were worried about finding somewhere that would be okay for a large group of people in their late 20’s. The warden was absolutely brilliant,super friendly and helped us with all the information we needed and made for a really comfortable and easy stay. He keeps the toilets (which were lovely for camping toilets!) stocked up well and we were very happy with the drinking water taps on site and the free use of a fridge/freezer on site too. It was also my dogs first time camping and he had the time of his life. On my birthday we took a trip over to the botanical gardens (only a 10 min walk from the site) for a picnic which was lovely. There’s shops/ pubs/ takeaways/ restaurants nearby incase the weather turns which was perfect for us as we had a few small showers. We were also delighted to find that there was alpacas and ponies on sight near the entrance! Me and my partner spent another night once the rest of the group had left and still felt just as happy and comfortable :) All in all it was a wonderful stay, I would absolutely recommend this sight to any groups or even couples or solo campers. Thanks so much to the warden for being brilliant I’m sure we will return in future!

A nice quiet site, the grounds are kept in a lovely tidy state, nice size pitches with water and electric hook up.

The showers are on a timer and the temperature changes throughout. The two toilet cubicles flood as a result of the showers so you need to hold your clothes up whilst sat.

Easy access, tidy!

The location, the quietness, the horses and alpacas, and especially the warm welcome!

A few more toilets/showers may be useful for high season.
