Quiet site in the sticks, surrounded by nature. Great sized pitches. On-site Lake with a boat to use for free. Nice and friendly owners. It’s a no frills site but fine for a couple of nights. The owners are strict on noise which is why we chose it and I can say that it was lively and peaceful.

The toilets were a bit smelly but they were clean enough. The showers were push style and lasted about 10 seconds per push. They could have been hotter for me and I feel they need a good upgrade which would make this site first class. It’d be a nightmare if the campsite was full with 4 toilets and 3 showers for a campsite that could hold over 80 people.

Love this place. Been here twice. It’s a gem buried in the mountains . But only 10 mins from Barmouth
Laid back small relaxed site with amazing staff ,friendly chatty and helpful . Toilets /showers and washing up facilities small but enough for the site.
A lake to use for free with our kayaks or use theirs for free.
Scenic views and mountain walks up rhinog. River and waterfalls near too.
Also has excellent WiFi in the top field for free.

Lots of space. Lovely views. The Picnic table at each pitch is a great addition a welcome bonus. Very peaceful site. Close to Harlech

Toilets could do with a bit of an upgrade a bit old looking but they were clean Don't use the post code in your Sat Nav. It takes you on a nightmare journey along a single track. Our fault we didn't read all the instructions and had to turn back.

We loved the secluded location. Scenery is stunning.

The chemical waste facility had no handle on the drain cover and no tap to flush out the portable toilet

We stayed here the weekend. Was a very last minute booking and we loved every bit of it! The lake was a little 5 minute walk from our tent and they also had a cannoning experience you can do. It was only a short drive to the beach and was a quiet camping area but very relaxing. I will 100% be returning here soon. Thank you

Beautiful site, lovely views, quiet. Lots of room on the pitches. A few people had huge tents or camper vans and still had plenty of space. Zero phone signal until you're a mile or so down the road; really good to be off the grid. Loads of walking to do on the site and exploring in the woods for the little ones. Location was close to a lot of busy towns (Harlech, Barmouth, Porthmadog). Harlech beach is a must! Log burners were good and the wood from the farmer was very reasonably priced. A few lovely pubs in the centre of the village and Shell Island is only 10 minutes away.

Shower/toilet block was very basic with 2 toilets and 1 shower in both male and female sections. Two sinks to wash pots with outside. Family/assisted shower room was very dirty and needed a thorough scrubbing. Especially the seat in the shower. This whole area is probably in need of an upgrade. Take your citronella as this site gets midges/gnats by the droves from dusk to dawn. WiFi is from the Teepee at as you come in so it only reaches half way down the field.

Excellent location surrounded by lovely scenery and places to walk. The pitches were nicely spaced out and separated into different areas with woods separating the areas. Stunning lake just on the edge of the campsite with a canoe you can use. The toilet blocks were clean and showers hot. The owner was very friendly and gave advice on where we could kayak locally.

Toilets could've done with bug zappers as midgies congregated there in the later evenings.
