Nice location within walking distance of a small lake. Clean showers and toilets. Hot water to clean the dishes.

A lot of mosquitos on our pitch because of the nearby lake

Beautiful scenery, clean bathrooms, benches at each plot is super useful, slept the best we’ve ever slept camping, probably because it’s a peaceful site.
Canoeing in the lake kept the older kids busy whilst on site

My only suggestion would be it’s nice to have a little music sometimes but get why it’s not allowed in the name.

Location was good, site was very peaceful and the facilities were kept very clean. Nice to have the lake to kayak on. We definitely hope to return in the future.

The only negative we found was the low number of toilets, not great when the site was busy.

Was a very cozy and nice pod in a beautiful area and with a lake about a 5min walk away with a canoo free to use. The owners were very nice and accommodating. It also wasn't a long walk into town only about an hour .

There was no signal or WiFi but that isn't the owners fault.

Location, location, location - I went for a golden hour evening run - partly on the moorland and partly in "Atlantic Temperate Rain Forest" (some of the best I have seen). Run was very much slowed by stopping to take in the views and photography.

Facilities were more than adequate for a short stay - plenty of hot water, clean and sufficient for the number of tent pitches.

There was no mobile coverage and I was not expecting WiFi - but there is and it was plenty fast enough.

Nothing - be aware that, as described, this is close to wild camping. If the weather is poor you may prefer somewhere with inside facilities and etc.

Remote location (this feels very remote - zero mobile reception and a heck of a drive off the beaten path. Bring what you need with you!)
Peaceful - no road noise obviously, nice walks near by

WiFi - as mentioned, zero mobile reception. Zero. It’s not the best, you must be within sight of the antenna for it to work, so mostly a “send the wife a message to let her know you’re out of signal” level of service rather than sitting in the van watching Netflix, but not a big deal just something worth being aware of.

Difficult one to call out, when I arrived the lady I dealt with was pleasant and welcoming. I was due to arrive an hour later than the final “check in” - emailed to let sure know ahead of time, got a slightly snarky response. Unusual in my experience, especially considering there was no welcome tour or similar, just hello, park where you like, this really could have just been done in an email consisting of “no worries. I won’t be around. Let yourself in”.

Toilet/shower/washing area. Could be cleaner. Didn’t LOOK the cleanest, but camping, I expect it’s hard to keep them clean. Fair enough. However. The smell was interesting. I was glad I was only staying for 1 night due to this.

Just a beautiful place so peaceful and stunning location in the hills...Nice touch with fire pits and benches and canooe on the lake ...the host was a lovely lady...definitely come back

This is a remote peaceful quiet camp site.

Owned by friendly helpful people.
The prices are very reasonable, £2 for a large fire pit for the duration of your stay! The use of a hot shower!
The toilet and shower was always clean.
No mobile phone signal was a blessing, we loved the remote location.
Make sure you pack everything you need as shops were a bit of a trek.
This place is a gem!

It was a lovely quiet campsite with lots of space to spread out. A great place to explore from, there is a small lake very close and a bigger one a little further on which was nice to swim in. You could cycle to the local village pubs which wasn't too far and Harlech is also close by. The toilets and showers were clean and the owners are really friendly. You also get a picnic bench with your spot and a fire pit and wood is available to buy from reception. We would definitely come and stay again.
