We loved our stay here! Beautiful campsite with lots of areas to explore and all the facilities we needed. It felt like a proper escape driving up to the campsite past the beautiful views of Harlech. We went to the pub in Llanbedr which was perfect for dinner and a drink. Would definitely recommend!

The location was simply stunning, with views of the hills, a nearby stream and lake, and beautiful nights for stargazing by campfire. Kids loved running around in the open, playing frisbee with new friends and exploring local towns.

Might the shower blocks/loos benefit from just a tiny upgrade?

Quiet.
Remote but not too remote.

Facilities: Not enough toilets (were nearly always occupied), were always wet.
Cleaning of toilets took place at peak times in the morning (why?)
Felt host was unapproachable (never smiled, always looked like she was judging).

Plenty of room to run free, lots of adventures to be had on site, forest walks, river, lake. Not too big a site so felt more friendly with other campers. Although, you are not on top of each other either, very nicely spaced out pitches with a picnic table and fire pit for each plot.

Disabled/family shower could do with fixing up a bit, but still fit for purpose. Facilities quite far away from our tent, also could do with a few more toilets as only 2 ladies, 2 gents and a disabled one. Also perhaps another washing up station.

We loved the campsite - as a young couple we felt comfortable and welcome, with enough space to ourselves as well as being able to socialise.

We loved the local area, taking ourselves off to explore the woodlands and walks recommended by the staff. We welcomed the break from technology as there is no service or wifi on site.

The toilet and shower block was kept extremely clean, its size never being an issue. The whole campsite was well kept and respected by all.

The staff care about their site and guests and we're looking forward to returning next year.

Lovely site with nicely spaced out pitches. Peaceful. Enjoyed going on the canoe on the lake. Appreciated the picnic bench - saved moving our chairs in and out of the tent. Loved having a fire for a couple of nights.
The facilities were kept very clean during our stay.
Liked that there were no dogs.
We enjoyed visiting Harlech for food shopping - you can get nice cheeses, bread and vegetarian savouries from the grocers. The icecream parlour is not to be missed either.

Nothing about the site but we found navigating the footpaths hard work - perhaps because we missed waymarkers due to the tall bracken

Very relaxed site. Loved the fact there's no music, dogs or groups allowed. Pitches are well spaced out so there's plenty of room and lots of space for kids to play. Picnic table and fire pit at each pitch were great. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the stream. Our 4 year old loved it and made several new friends during the week we stayed here. WiFi doesn't reach the lower pitches, but it was good to switch off anyway.
