Thorpe Hall Caravan and Camping Site

Понравилось: Just about everything - friendly, place is kept clean and tidy. Easy check in. We've been before and expect we'll be back.

Не понравилось: Nearby road is slightly noisy at night (but our home is not near any traffic noise so perhaps we notice it more). Would like the WiFi to be a bit better as we don't have TV in the caravan.

Понравилось: The peace and tranquility of a lovely clean site with excellent shower, washing and toilet facilities. A very relaxing time. The description of site was accurate so we found what we had expected. Staff very friendly.

Понравилось: Lovely peaceful campsite. We only stayed for 1 night on this occasion but would happily return and stay for longer. + Easy arrival process - clear instructions on finding our pitch and setting up. + Well maintained site + Very friendly staff + Bathroom block was clean and well maintained + Short walk to a lovely local pub and a short drive into Bridlington to pick up fish and chips! + Lots of bird life around the site, with the swallows giving amazing close fly-bys!

Не понравилось: Nothing, we had a fantastic stay. Thorpe Hall cannot be held accountable for the dreadful weather!

Понравилось: Really clean site, great toilet block and showers, lots of space, a separate field for games etc.

Не понравилось: It wasn't a dislike really but no fires, which I know people like to do when camping

We're disappointed to learn that you disliked the facilities because they are out dated and cold as we always have fantastic reviews about our shower blocks. However, during your stay another guest came to tell us that the heating was off so we were able to investigate and remedy immediately. We apologise that you found the room to be cold but would urge any guest who has a dislike/concern to let us know whilst they are on site so that we have a chance to put things right. Понравилось: Very friendly - lovely pitch beside the wall - it was huge. The facilities are clean, modern and very user friendly - the water is hot.

Не понравилось: The rain - but that wasn’t anything anyone could have changed! Wifi isn’t great but they do warn you about that when booking.

Понравилось: Unbelievably clean pitches and toilet block. Set in a walled garden makes it quite impressive. Very friendly service and a short walk to the village pub. Need I say more?

Не понравилось: Lack of check in information arrived in time but reception shuts at 6 and no information on what we should do just a name on a pitch number WiFi was not good

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to welcome you back again in the future :-) You're correct with reference to the WIFI but we do mention on this site that it can be intermittent and in our own subsequent correspondence we state that it cannot be guaranteed. As the Reception/Shop is managed by just 1 person (who may be called out onto site at any given time) unfortunately it's not possible to be around to welcome everyone personally. For this reason, we email each lead guest all relevant information for self check-in along with a reminder email sent out two days prior to arrival. They may have found their way to your spam folder Beth but we did send you an email on 24th June which included your booking summary, pitch number, T&C's and details of what to do on arrival e.g. where to find your name on the board, diagrams of how to set up and where to find the map of the site. It also contained information on TV and WIFI. On the 26th June we sent another email headed 'Important Information' which contained a reminder of arrival details and how to set up along with information on water, grey waste, chemical toilet point, TV/phone and WIFI, quiet time between 11pm - 8am and a sentence on the local area. For anyone making a booking we'd encourage you to check your inbox (and spam folder) so that you have all the information required to have an enjoyable stay. If for any reason you don't see an email from us please get in touch as we'll be happy to resend.

Понравилось: An exceptionally run quiet site with excellent facilities and impeccable maintenance standards. Delightful rural location a few miles from Bridlington. Excellent local community pub nearby.
