Понравилось: Kids played for hours in the stream, the rope swing across the water is amazing Peaceful beautiful place to relax with the kids Lovely lady running the place. and chickens walking around Really nice place to stay

Не понравилось: Toilets and shower dirty and floor seems rotted. No mop to clean yourself Cave bar never open

Понравилось: Loved the brook through the site the children had so much fun playing it was a beautiful site. Bar was an added bonus.

Не понравилось: Would have been 5 stars if there had been a few more showers.

Понравилось: Friendly and welcoming. Kids played in the stream for hours, loved the rope swings. Hire of fire pit and wood to purchase is a great addition. Cave bar nice and quirky.

Понравилось: Love the old vicarage for our annual family get together. The children love there outdoor space.

Не понравилось: 1 shower and 4 toilets for the whole site. Not enough washing pot facilities. Disorginasition on arrival seemed over crowded and the staff were not clear on where we were pitching our tent

Понравилось: The campsite is fantastic, with a beautiful shallow-ish babbling brooke running through it the kids can be left to themselves to paddle all day long. There is a pleather of swing/ slides all over the campsite and a zip wire. There is an amazing cave bar and washing up area. You can pick where you pitch up and set up as you like. The hand drier in the women’s bathroom was fabulous and dried your hand quickly. Got running water was also available all the time in the toilets.

Не понравилось: Toilet facilities were okay, two toilets in the women’s and 1 shower. The toilets do need upgrading desperately. The floor in the women’s was very bouncy and felt unstable and it felt like you might go through the floor. Toilet roll did run out and was replace for a good midday onwards till late and hand soap ran out early doors. There was a lot of water in the floor from the shower as well. It could also benefit from a separate portaloo disposing toilet/wash facilities.

The toilets were cleaned several times over the weekend, if the toilet roll and hand wash runs out between cleaning we wish for people to inform us instead of leaving it on a review as we can sort the problem out before your departure. Понравилось: Lovely setting and the kids spent the days in the lake and swings etc,great place to bring dog aswel ours loved it very peaceful

Не понравилось: Don’t recommend! … When looking at this campsite on google it looks so pretty and a lovely sight, till you arrive and its water logged/ run down and unclean! • Toilets didn’t get clean the whole time we was there (2 nights) mud and grass everywhere and covered in cobwebs • Where the washing up station was there was 2 bin bags full of garbage just left on the floor and the bin was also full that never got emptied. • Dog poo bins full also never got emptied • There was a massive tent at the back they used for weddings but there was rubbish/ building materials just chucked around it. • Also there was massive pile of rubbish at the bottom of the car park, old mattress/ lawn mowers/ doors/ literally everything! • We could only put our tent in 1 place due to everything being water logged and super muddy! And had to walk through the mud to get to anywhere on the campsite

От менеджера: Hi Georgia Many thanks for uploading the photos, as you will see those bollards are up to protect the grass from getting churned up like it did at the weekend!! The toilets were cleaned daily - we ask that you leave the toilets as you expect to find them! The rubbish should be put in the skip - as told when you check in The Tipi company have been on and off site since last Thursday making this perfect for our upcoming brides and grooms and unfortunately they need to leave equipment here sometimes and it cannot be done all from the inside so the outside on the grass needs to be used! The Lawn mowers were not left out - these are an expensive piece of equipment so these will have been put away!! The doors are stored in our caves - if people have got these out, even though they shouldn't have, then that is not our fault? 1 place to pitch your tent on 5 acres of land? We have had a busy weekend with 25+ pitches so we find this hard to believe. We have had dry weather since Saturday! If you had a problem you should have come to us to voice your opinion instead of plastering it all over our reviews? Regards The Old Vicarage Team

Понравилось: Its a friendly camping site, river bank is so nice and kids had the best time , enjoying the river. I loved the cave bar! :)

Понравилось: The site was lovely, felt very safe. Staff very freindly and approachable Clean toilet cubicle.

Не понравилось: The rude campers next door (however not the sites issue can't be helped)
