Не понравилось Information email sent on morning of travelling. No text rcd. Warden was far from welcoming. Pitch was good but very difficult to access as road narrow, curb to gravel pitch high, potholes. You definitely need a motor mover. Woken from 6.15am by quite a few residents leaving site for, what we think, workers. Security gate broken Saturday and no wardens onsite Sunday, no site if security to cover. What site has no wardens on a Sunday - totally closed. Facilities open to general public. Shame as this could be a good site by we won't be back.

Regarding the security gate, this was unfortunately damaged in an accident; we are actively working to have it repaired as quickly as possible, as site security remains a priority for us.

Our office hours are clearly displayed on the door, and while we are not open 24/7, our on-site teams are available when needed to assist guests. As mentioned in the information email sent on the morning of your arrival, our reception team may not be visible at all times but are always contactable during operating hours.

We appreciate your comments about access to the pitch and site layout — we will take these on board for future improvements.

Regarding your comments — our shop is usually well stocked, but during the winter months we do reduce stock levels slightly to help avoid wastage. The showers and facilities are currently being refurbished over the winter period to improve comfort and cleanliness for next season.

As for the WiFi, this is currently noted on our website as being out of order, and we’re actively working to have it back up and running in the very near future.

I was the receptionist on duty that day and apologise if I came across as unhelpful or unfriendly. That certainly wasn’t my intention. I was simply trying to clarify why the entry code messages hadn’t been received, as our system showed they had been sent the previous day. However, I completely understand that this could have been communicated more warmly, and I’m sorry for any frustration this caused.

I’m not sure why your booking appeared to have been moved, but I’ve raised this with management so we can look into it and prevent similar confusion in the future.

Thank you also for your comments regarding the chemical waste area - this is being refurbished during the winter — your feedback has been passed on to our maintenance team for review. I’m glad to hear you otherwise enjoyed the site’s surroundings and facilities, and I do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts to help us improve.

Понравилось Great location in a lovely park with pretty, easy walks and a great cafe. Clean and fairly new facilities. Really well maintained site.

Понравилось Lovely little site. Really peaceful and calm.
Showers were hot on every use and always clean and tidy.
Well kept site.

Не понравилось No stools in the shower so hard to dry your feet and get the bottom half dressed without getting wet or putting towel on the floor.
Also no dog tie up places around the shower/toilet block which would be a great addition.

Regarding dog tie-up points, we’ve chosen not to install these as we often have young children on-site and want to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Понравилось Beautiful Peaceful Break,in the countryside..
What a lovely site, you’re just in the middle of the forest.Beautiful trees,sound of the birds tweeting,Never seen many robins,red kites flying over.
Before booking we read the reviews-There was a few comments on the shower block- The facilities were kept clean & tidy throughout our stay,All in working order. (At the end of the day you’re camping)
Staff friendly throughout our stay.
The site was very well maintained.
The country park is a very short walk from site,which we visited daily,fishing is £7 a day,
But you can’t really fish from site unless you have a chalets. So next time we will be more prepared.. (but it’s only a short walk to the lakes)
There are so many walks here to do. The area is beautiful. We would definitely recommend this site.
