Do gestor: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. So please to hear you thought our pitches were very spacious and are staff friendly. With regards to the dogs running around off the lead, if you had brought this to our warden’s attention, they would have spoken to them. We do have an extremely large paddock where dog are allowed to have a free rein but on park they should be on keep on a lead at all times. Kind Regards Team Lickhill.

Do gestor: We are not surprised to read this review, as you made it clear upon departure that you were not very happy with your stay. First of all, you did not need to wait for our office to open, as you have a key box right next to the entrance. All you needed to do was pop your key into the box and give us a call with your card number and we would have been able to refund your deposit. We usually mention this upon arrival, and quite a few guests receive their refund that way, without needing to wait for the office to open. You were a returning customer and had stayed on one of our fully serviced hardstanding touring pitches previously and enjoyed your stay. Your partner mentioned upon arrival that you were supposed to go elsewhere this year, but that you had to change your plans last minute, which is why you booked a non-electric grass pitch with us. You would have preferred to stay on one of our hardstanding pitches, but unfortunately, they were fully booked, and we could not let you pitch up on our camping field nearby this area, as we do not allow cars and vans on this camping field. Regarding your comment about the untidy maintenance area, normally only staff should have access to this area, and we had put a sign to stop guests from passing that way to get to the shower block. After you complained, we noticed that the sign had been removed. There is a 3rd wash up sink located in the launderette. All wash up areas and water points were clearly pointed out on the facilities sheet in your welcome pack. Regarding your comment about no shop on site, we do not see the need to have a shop, as there is a shop in the village just 10 minutes’ walk from our site.

Do gestor: Thank you for your review. Sorry, some of the showers were out of order during your stay. There is an outdoor washing up sink located on the other side of the top shower block, we apologise that you haven't been informed about this one. We hope to see you again in the future.
