Gostou Lovely little quiet campsite, the pitches are well maintained. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained although we didn't use the shower as we only stopped for the night. It was only 3/5 pitches full and I can imagine it might get busy waiting for the toilet when full as it's only the one unit. There is a little play area when you first enter the farm, whether this is for the campsite guests to use I am not sure.

Não gostou Not a dislike but would be better if the bins were a bit closer, we didn't notice them on arrival and only saw them when we were leaving. There is a sign stating where they are so not a fault of the campsite.

Gostou Great little campsite, very small which I liked. Only 4 tents in total and was very peaceful. You can really enjoy a peaceful night here listening to nature and watching cars in the distance.

Não gostou Site is a bit lumpy in places but if you shift around you can get comfy.

Gostou On arrival the site looked well maintained you just choose your own spot, the pitches are on a bit of a slope but there is plenty of space and we stayed on a nice weekend so it was busy but was not overcrowded at all with plenty of room between tents. There was a lot of families with kids playing so it was nice and relaxed, no groups of teenagers blasting music. The toilets were clean and had plenty of soap and toilet roll. The pizza van was a nice addition and well priced. I have seen people complain about the showers but for a pound you get 5 minutes and great water pressure and temperature control even if people are using the other ones. There was a security guard (external hire) who patrolled at night so it always felt safe and secure.

Não gostou Not really a dislike as it didn’t affect us as we were in the other field, but in the opposite field on the Saturday night a large group in campers turned up and pitched surrounding the other toilets and cleaning facilities as if they were claiming it for their group! The music was on constantly from early afternoon and went well past the 10pm curfew with drunken shouting. I felt sorry for the families with young kids nearby as they looked miserable due to shouting, singing and music blasting out. The security guard was useless and didn’t do anything about it. It wouldn’t put us off coming back here as it didn’t affect us but was a bit concerning that security didn’t do anything as up to that point it felt like a great site for families. I’m sure the owners would have sorted it had they been informed!

We had our best friends wedding this weekend so decided to hire in security as we wouldn't be here on the Saturday. Normally Jeff does this and ensures quiet after 10pm. Please be assured it was a one off weekend.

Gostou The site was well kept and very peaceful, great location for visiting ullswater lake.

Gostou Campsite is in a fantastic location with amazing views. The site is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The toilets and shows are clean and as long as you don't shower at peak times the water pressure and temperature is excellent. The shop is also well stocked. Will become a regular now.
