Puglia is located right down at the bottom of the long, slender boot that is Italy. So what better place to pick up a quality pair of footwear, perhaps at a bargain price? Brezza Tra Gli Ulivi is a five-minute drive from Puglia Outlet Village, where designer goods are sold along local products (many of which have the additional bonus of being rather tasty). Ready to strut your (newly bought) stuff during an evening passeggiata? Head to Molfetta (10 minutes) for strolls along the seafront or round the well-preserved town centre. Bisceglie's pleasure port and grandiose Ammazzalorsa palace (both 10 minutes) make quite the backdrop too. If your gang is calling out for more rural spots, take them down to inspect the Dolmen of Chianca Carrara (one of the most archaeologically significant in all of Europe), or admire the Pulo di Molfetta, a sinkhole that it's probably best to survey from a safe distance. For next-level landscapes, though, you’ll want to make the trip to the spectacular coastline of Gargano National Park (an hour).
