Gostou The friendliness of staff, the Pod was comfortably laid out, albeit the lamp flex was far too short to be able to bring the lamp close enough to the bed. Location was pleasant, next to some fields and footpath. The cafe/bar was welcome.

Não gostou The lack of facilities - 2 showers just wasn't enough given how many were on the site. I wasn't impressed by what seemed a lack of organisation on part of staff. I was just handed a key & told where to locate my pod. Most places I've been to I've been escorted by staff & shown where everything is. There was no info in the Pod either especially what to do with the key at the end of my stay, what times staff were available and/or a number to contact them if problems arose. I had to find by myself where the washing up facility was & the drinking water. The toilet/shower cubicles were obvious, so no problem there. I left at 9am next morning - so not too early - but there was no-one at the shop/reception to take the key which made things difficult.

Do gestor: Thank you for your feedback ,sorry you felt that you were let down by staff,we do try are utmost to make customers enjoy there stay.
Sorry you were not escorted to your pod,has we were two staff down and the cafe/bar was very busy.
The cafe bar is open 9 till late at weekends and there is always someone on site except for Mondays.But if we have people arriving I always try to contact them.
Yes we do only have two showers but customers always comment on how lovely they are and hot water.We are just starting on the new extension.
Once again I apologise that things were not to your liking.

Gostou Facilities were great and clean, friendly staff. Great location, well looked after site.

Gostou Fantastic campsite , very peaceful and beautiful views of the river Severn. The owners Sam n Julia are extremely welcoming,lovely bar area n pizzas and kept lovely n clean with nice hot showers and toilet facilities.

Gostou A small site with good clean facilities. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The small cafe on site was very popular with both campers and locals. Julia, the owner, was very kind and popped over a couple of times to ensure everything was okay and to invite us to events taking place on the campsite.
Close to a number of National Trust properties with good walking in the area.

Gostou Campsite and setting absolutely beautiful beer gardens lovely staff very friendly and helpful really enjoyed our stay nice little find to be honest
Plenty of walks and nice pubs off site dogs loved it too
Pitch is flat and clean and plenty to look around on site

Não gostou For the amount of pitches there are only 2 showers and 3 toilets which did cause queues and toilet rolls ran out quickly so bring your own. The owners did say they are looking to increase and improve this as it’s such a great site it’s the only thing that lets it down but if you plan ahead and expect this the site is a must visit and if this is resolved then the site owners would have nailed a absolutely fantastic site

Gostou Setting was lovely

Não gostou Toilets were filthy. Campsite was chaotic and expensive, people were clearly there to drink and not respect others. There was no policing of the noise. People were driving through the site throughout the night, shouting and swearing throughout the night, revving a motorcycle at 1am. It was a loud site with no noise control, and the toilets needed a good clean. No WiFi

Do gestor: Sorry to hear this.we take pride in our clean toilet block.This weekend we had a couple of paddle borders came in off the river and did make a mess,which a member of the public bought it to my attention and I was onto it.There is a mop and cleaning materials for them to clean up after themselves.
Then a group in the lodges decided to start a sing song,which I was only made aware of late by way of a message and I was asleep.
We do have a noise policy,which I do tell people,there is a site rules board and it is on our website with Pitchup.
I do apologise.I was about until 11 and it was quite and peaceful.
We do take pride in our usually peaceful site,unfortunately there is now and again one that has to spoil it.
We do have a lot of repeat business,has a lovely quite site.

Gostou Beautifull campsite very tranquil and relaxed which we was looking for, to have a little time out. The bar and cafe was a plus so didn’t need to go too far to enjoy a cold drink.
The owners and hospitality was amazing both interacted and enjoyed company with us. I can say there was nothing we didn’t enjoy will definitely be going back.
