Gostou Camping pods are standard and clean. Staff were very friendly. Park is in a beautiful location. Good ferry connection for walking the west highland way. Is located in a popular place to hire water sport equipment i.e jet skis, boats, paddle boards

Não gostou We camp a lot both under canvas and in pods and we weren't a massive fan of this site. The camping pods are located behind the reception block facing onto caravans and have tractors and maintenance equipment behind them, not the most picturesque. I also felt the pods were too close together. The womans toilet block wasn't very clean on the night we visited but the gents was spotless. The food at the attached hotel is good and staff very friendly but service is very, very slow so be warned if you plan on eating there. You also cant be served breakfast/coffee at the hotel unless you are a hotel guest despite a sign on the outside saying open for breakfast.

Não gostou Paid for a full service pitch but was given a electric only car park bay in a local car park overlooking the Loch
Which was you were pitched up there was no way of getting your van back out as cars were constantly parked behind you while they were using the the loch jet skiing etc we ran out of water on sat morning and had no way our hose would reach the nearest water tap about 30 meters away also the grey waste from the van would go down the drain but was left to go into the gravel spoke to a chap who gave us the spot pitch but insisted it was a full service pitch even though it only had a power socket on a pole I asked him several times about complaint procedure he just shrugged his shoulder also the pitch had bags of used dogs muck and area was a mess of weeds
The toilet block was open and floor was like a swimming pool with visitors using the facilities after wet sling etc
Think the must think that because of the stunning location they don't need to bother about definately not work £40 A night to be locked in a car park unable to move Came home on Sunday instead of Monday due to no water or drainage took the chance to escape when someone move out of the car park 5 ft behind us
You need to concentrate on customers happiness or one day you will be the only one looking at it

Gostou Friendly Staf - both in park and pub. Made to feel very welcome. Would definitely use again !

Gostou The waterside pitch has breathtaking views of the loch. Level pitch. Clean facilities with hot water

Não gostou Clubhouse / bar restaurant will not serve you breakfast unless you’re a hotel guest! Although the sign outside says “open to non residents” but campers on site are not included. Disappointing.

Do not forget your bug zappers!

Gostou Location was stunning & the toilets/showers were well maintained.

Gostou Just off the main A road. We had a stone pitch with EHU and water, bonus was a view of Loch Lomond. Clean showers and toilets. A pub on site but we did not use it. I even had a swim in the Loch.

Gostou Campsite is in a nice location with lovely views of the loch.
Food in the hotel on site served nice food and had friendly staff.

Não gostou Unfortunately the site was poorly ran. The pitches were unclean with rubbish from previous campers still left behind. Not sure what was going on with the fresh water but it looked like it was being pumped straight from the loch!!

There were only 2 showers and 2 toilets each in the ladies and gents for the whole site which were closed for 'cleaning' at 9.30am which was inconvenient but there was no cleaner visible and the shower cubicles were not clean. Scum was still visible and dirty water wasn't running away making showering uncomfortable.
There was not toilet roll one morning in either toilet but I thought the 'cleaner' would replace them. On returning after a day out there was still none. I did ask the young male at reception if they could be replaced and they were.

We read reviews on arrival about the over flowing dog mess bin which was near our pitch. On leaving it was still full. We did leave though after 2 nights instead of the 5 planned. Couldn't face the showers n drinking water another day.

The staff on arrival was one male who gave us no instructions on the site and pointed us in the direction to where we were staying but said we could pick our own pitch. Not sure where we would've ended up if the only pitch left was taken!!
