Gostou Beautiful scenic location, was lovely to go back to basics for a few nights. I have a pretty demanding job and normally struggle to switch off outside of work because I can work through my phone, but the lack of signal and being in such a peaceful place really meant that even after just 3 nights I feel so much more rested.
It’s 9 miles to Dorchester town and just over 30 minutes to Weymouth beach.

We camped right by the water and woke for sunrise coming up over the lake which I highly recommend doing!

The owners were very welcoming and strongly encourage that if you have any issues just talk to them, we didn’t have any problems but they clearly care about the site.

We didn’t take advantage of the fishing but it looked like everyone was having a lovely time and we were surprised by how easy it was for people to spend a whole day just chilling on the lake.

Toilets and showers were fine, water pressure in the shower was better than my shower at home!

Gostou A lovely site, simple but has everything you need. The owners were great, very friendly and helpful. We arrived 30 minutes after the arrival time due to traffic, they were very accommodating and waited for us.
It is a perfect place for fishing (lots of lakes available) or to have a walk around beautiful nature.
The pitch is unlimited (as long as you don't disturb your neighbours) and the price is great.
The toilets and washing area were kept clean and well stocked at all times.
Will definitely return if we are back in the area

Gostou We like everything about this place, the people who run it are just brilliant, I spend a lot of time in the shop chatting to the lads who work there , who can't do enough for you, we go for the fishing as there's not alot else to do other than that but we like it for that very reason. But also nice break of you prefer a quiet campsite. We would love to become residents 😁

Gostou What’s not to love, total relaxation, never left our pitch, proper old fashion family site, with fishing in a lovely quiet location. Basic facilities, with the perfect hosts. Booked an extra day.

Gostou What's not to like? Great people and service. If your looking for fancy action packed holiday then go elsewhere. If you want a peaceful, relaxing get away from it all then this is the place to go. Great range of fishing lakes to choose from. Large pitches and even then you are not on top of each other. Basic facilities but all that you need. This is why we keep going back. Even managed to get booked in again later this year.

Do gestor: Thanks for review. Welcome back anytime. Ill just add 2 Showers!! one one the Gents side one on the Ladies side NOT unisex. Being a small site maximum pitches for the site is 15 and usually surfice however it does state in the welcome leaflet if you ask us other arrangements may be available.
