Lynmouth Holiday Retreat

Gostou: What a little gem! The greeting was amazing couldn’t be more helpful, the site is immaculate as are the toilets and showers, lovely spacing between pitches, great surprise to find a very friendly man serving cocktails and good food, Best chips ever! Great dog field as well. All in all I couldn’t fault it! I will be returning! Please keep the fees reasonable! And dont follow other sites that are charging silly money! Thank you for a lovely stay ♥️

Gostou: Well organised camping site with great showers and washroom... WiFi throughout the site and a very pleasant country walk from the site into Lynton.. Some pitches were on a slight slope so if in a van you will need levelling ramps.
Staff were friendly and helpful.. I would recommend this site..

Gostou: Excellent site, great facilities spotlessly clean showers and toilets. We went for the private shower option for a small charge per day. Very welcoming helpful staff, even warm pastries and coffee from reception.
Fantastic views from the site out to sea and very peaceful and relaxing.

Não gostou: No heating in shower room.

Gostou: Amazing views, clean facilities, really dog friendly. Pizza van on Mondays delicious and ordering fresh croissants each morning was a bonus!
Great location for amazing scenery of north Devon. On the app there are various walks easy to follow.

Não gostou: Unfortunately it was an incredibly windy week up on bay view pitches; we had to take our awning down the day after arrival and we were there for a week and couldn’t put it back up. We saw people’s tents rip and guy ropes snap so be prepared if it’s windy!
Ticks- be vigilant thank you for the posters up and about informing you. We got off at least 40 throughout the week luckily he’s on tick treatment too.

Bay View pitches do catch the breeze 💨 (sometimes a bit too well!), so we really appreciate your heads-up for fellow campers 🏕️. And well done for staying on top of the ticks 🐶✔️—our four-legged guests' safety is super important to us. 🐾❤️

Gostou: The grounds are well kept. With lovely views toilets and showers are modern and clean. Only could do with something to put your shampoo etc on in showers. Staff are fantastic and very helpful

Não gostou: Could do with some extra signage for the costal walk to Lynmouth only fault i could find.

Gostou: Great facilities, friendly helpful staff.

Não gostou: Got put in a new field, the pitch not properly cleared ready for use, lots of big rocks mostly dirt patches very little grass, needs flattening given time for the grass to grow.

We take a lot of pride in looking after the grounds, so we're working on encouraging more grass growth and clearing the area so its better for our future guests🌱🛠️Thanks again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience – we really hope to welcome you back again soon, with greener grass and smoother ground!

Gostou: The site was very clean. It was quite quiet and peaceful. It is very green and planned out well. The dog walking area is great.
The showers and toilets were spacious and clean.
Added bonus was the cocktail and food car. We wish we had known it was there on site because we would have used that instead of bringing our own food. Cocktails were fabulous!
WiFi is great and free.

Não gostou: No plugs in the sinks if you wanted to have a wash.
No shelves in the showers to put shampoo on etc. showers on a push button system, which is fine, but they don't stay on long enough.

Gostou: What a super campsite, now on my favourites list. The best staff ever who made the stay even better if that’s possible! Level spacious pitches. Spotlessly clean everywhere and with everything you need…..even a pop up van on site selling cocktails and the best burgers! Can’t wait for my next visit.

Não gostou: Minor detail….showers although fab turn off after seconds. Unless it was just the one I used.
