Gostou: Huge site with plenty of facilities including great on site catering, play park, modern toilets. The location of the site is great, a 20 min steep walk to a wonderful beach, well worth it. If you want sea view then one of the top pitches is required. When we arrived there was a group nearby which was particularly rowdy and so it was greatly appreciated when they were removed by the site team.

Não gostou: On a beautiful sunny weekend the site is packed quite tightly with most pitches quite close together. There were some pitches to the east which were better spread apart. The adjacent holiday park was a bit wild of Saturday night so live music and fireworks until around 11 pm.

Gostou: Lovely family run site. Friendly welcome and the site felt very safe. Pitch was allocated to suit us (single parent with 2 toddlers), right near the playground and toilets. Nice to have hot food on site each evening. Facilities were clean and the showers were the hottest I’ve ever had on a campsite!!

Gostou: The views from just the basic tent pitch up was stunning! Sea view with perfect views of the sun set as well made the night lovely! We were 5 minutes from the walk down to the cove beach which again was amazing. The shop was not extortionate prices like you find on most sites as well which was great. The toilets/shower block was clean and all working well! We also had breakfast from the takeaway hut they have and it was really good food for the price, could not complain! This was our first time camping in years and this experience made us feel very positive about doing it again and it becoming our new hobby! Would highly recommend this site and we will be back for sure!

Gostou: We aren’t very experienced campers, we actually saw this campsite on TikTok so thought we’d give it a go. We got the sea view, non slopping spot and it was absolutely amazing (as you can see from the photo showing our view from our tent). The walks around the site were lovely, it’s all very hilly so it’s not for the light hearted but it’s really rewarding when you arrive at a nice beach or beautiful view. The toilet facilities are great as they’re individual toilet and shower cubicles so there’s plenty of room to get changed comfortably and they’re always being cleaned! They are a bit of a walk from the sea view pitches but that’s the price you pay for such a nice view! The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, there’s great facilities for washing up and even a games room and ping pong tables! We would highly recommend the Watermouth Valley campsite and have already spoken to friends and family who have seen our photos and are keen to visit!

Gostou: Good location - was very close to the toilets & showers, and also the children’s play area as they took in to consideration that we had a young child

Não gostou: On site caterers didn’t seem to open and couldn’t see any reason as to why

Gostou: Lovely welcome, went above and beyond to ensure we had the right pitch. Toilet and shower block new and cleaned throughout the day and evening. Excellent walks from the site. Will definitely return
