Pleasant Streams Farm Camping

Gostou Very peaceful setting. Easy to get to and central for days out in Cornwall. Lots of space to pitch and a bonus that you can choose where to go. It is a basic site with no hot water for washing up or washing dishes facilities but this is made clear on the information page, and certainly wasn’t a problem for us, just go prepared. The showers and toilets were adequate. The owner was pleasant and you could purchase fire wood off of him which was helpful if you wanted a fire. We’ll definitely be going back. Wifi /phone signal is patchy.

Não gostou Not the owners fault…..but we came back from a day out to find a family had pitched their tent very close to us which having a 2 year old with us meant we definitely could hear them until they went into the tent and settled down for the night. Shame as there was plenty of room for them to pitch elsewhere.

Gostou Everything! This camp site is perfect. If you want a break away from it all this is the place to go to. Tony gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and looked after us all week. The ducks on site are very cute, you can hear owls at night and see swifts dart across the lake. Clean facilities, hot showers, friendly fellow campers. This was our third stay here and we will definitely come back again. Perfect spot for exploring Cornwall.

Gostou We liked the natural surroundings and the lake was a nice addition, it was nice to see the ducks and birds around the lake and they came over to say hello (or look for food). It was in a good area with some things to do near by. We liked that you could pick your own pitch.

Não gostou The toilets were very basic and small. The showers were also quite cramped. There was no signal but that is ok for some people.

Gostou Sweet little lake on site. Good stop off location on our way down the coast. Good hot showers.

Não gostou No phone signal on site. Toilets were not very clean and soap and hand towels were not re-filled. No washing up facilities.

Gostou Nicely maintained and pleasing surroundings. Ducks roam around. Clean facilities. Easy to find. Friendly and accommodating owner. Good price. Level pitches on short grass. No set pitches so go where you want.

Não gostou The access track to the camping field has a 90 degree corner to get around with a 4ft drop to a stream opposite. No problem for most vehicles but I was quite concerned edging my 5.5m camper van around it. Once on the site the owner said i could leave by a different route, which was fine but it would have been nice to know about it on the way in. Sign says reception open 2 hrs. per day, but could not find it. No washing up facilities. Toilet cubicles very small. Quite noisy after dark but that may have been just that night.

Showers and toilets were very clean. Great showers, better than some hotels Iv stayed at!

Não gostou No 4G or phone signal. But stoped the kids just playing jn their phones the whole stay!
But download music before arrival!

Gostou Very welcoming on arrival, very pleasant. All facilities were explained and included, was super easy and no hassle. Really nice atmosphere, lovely location. Highly recommend and would stay again!
