Bluebell Coppice Park

Gostou We stayed in one of the lodges which was lovely, the photos don't do it justice, it's much nicer than you can tell! The location was lovely, surrounded by trees, and really easy driving distance to nearby places like Battle. It seemed like everyone there respected the site rules, at 10pm everything went silent! There's clearly been lots of investment into making the site lovely!

You can order fresh croissants in the website before you go, but there's no info on how or where you actually get them, and it turned out there was no reservation or names, and I think the ones we ordered must have been picked up by someone else since they were all marked 'for sale' and what we ordered wasn't there. However, the staff did say they were happy to make more!
WiFi was available, but only near the cafe (which our Lodge was not), with a paid option run by a third party, using a payment method that seemed a bit dodgy and needed a phone call to sort out, which we didn't have phone signal for (if we did have signal we wouldn't have needed the WiFi after all). We actually had to leave the site to go somewhere with signal so we could sort it out.

Não gostou Daar aangekomen via een smalle weg verhard en onverhard kregen wij een plaats toegewezen die totaal niet vlak was. Het was nog een hele tour om de caravan waterpas te krijgen. Hele kleine plaatsen met auto en caravan. De camping/glamping was totaal niet wat we op de website zagen. Het buitengevoel midden in het privebos. Ja ja een camping helemaal volgestouwd. Van privacy was al helemaal geen sprake. Wij betaalden €195,00 voor 4 nachten wat erg veel was vonden wij voor deze camping. Toch maar blijven staan want ja alles zat vrij vol. Een camping om maar snel de vergeten qua toegang, staanplaatsen en faciliteiten. De website beloofde veel maar wij hebben er niks van geproefd. Er waren 3 douches klein niet en niet schoon wel warm water gelukkig. Er lag ook overal troep en bouwafval. Wij slaan deze camping/glamping maar over de vlgd keer. Een glamping zeggen ze dan nou ver beneden de maat. Korton nooit meer. O ja we hadden 3 Engelse echtparen met tien kinderen voor ons plekje die voor de nodige reuring zorgde. Voor hun heel gezellig maar voor de andere gasten iets minder.

Gostou Lovely pitch, warm welcome. Family run site, everyone was so helpful. Clean toilets and shower. Excellent facilities. Honesty shop open 24/7. Loved it and will be back!

Gostou Locatie en omgeving, mooie plek om Hastings en omgeving te verkennen.

Não gostou Huisje was op zich oké, maar de veren van het matras kwamen er bijna doorheen. Ook misten we echt een tafel en stoelen om aan te eten of spelletjes te spelen. Zowel binnen als buiten.

Gostou From arrival we were greeted with three members of the team who gave us a full introduction and then escorted us to our pitch giving me the choice of 4 and another couple were joining us later in the day they were quite happy to reserve that pitch. We were then visited to tell us what beauty treatments were available over the weekend. Although we did not partake in the pizza or burger evenings the smell coming from the Bluebell Lodge was amazing, much so that we gave in on Sunday and had a damn good breakfast in the lodge. The toilets & showers were always clean and tidy and I found it outstanding that the toilets had premium quality toilet roll, life's little luxuries. Having a freezer outside the honesty shop was amazing especially with the temperatures we were experiencing. Now the honesty shop, launderette, and washing facilities, the honesty shop was fantastic, fully stocked and the honesty system was being adhered too even the young kids, lets hope their parents knew the amount of ice creams they put on their tabs lol. Ice cold drinks, Hot Coffees were all top quality and as for the bags of ice once again such a game changer. As soon as I find out my work rota I will be booking for later in the year. This sort of site is one you don't really want to shout about so you can keep it to yourself but the owners here have gone the extra mile to make your stay a terrific experience. There was a number of Europeans staying and they couldn't believe this site that had everything, we will be back.

Gostou Well set out site with everything you could need. Pizzas freshly made on one of the nights we ate there, good facilities, 24 hour shop was great, loved it all
