High Lane Farm

Gostou Excellent site friendly owners. Early arrival and late departures are fine so don't feel rushed. Enjoyed having farm animals in fields surrounding and that the site is dog friendly yet nice and peaceful with no kids.

Gostou Good facilities- shower was excellent and having somewhere inside with a sofa and power in case of rain is always appreciated! Rural charm aplenty- enjoyed waking up to animals staring at me from the other side of the fence!

Não gostou Not a dislike person say, but there's only limited flat ground in the camping field so at busier times I would recommend arriving earlu-ish if you don't want to pitch up on a hill!

Gostou Lovely peaceful campsite. It’s the second time I’ve stayed. Liz took time out to show me the cows and sheep in the field.

Gostou Easy to book. The owners were so attentive and friendly. It is a working farm and having a field with the animals around is. Pretty amazing. The facilities are all under cover with a sofa or two so if you happened to be waiting for the kitchen, shower, toilet it is dry and comfortable. The eggs were delicious. There is a kettle, microwave, tea, coffee and a fridge if you want to use them.
The pub was lovely within walking distance with decent food and a beer garden. We went on a long walk through the countryside from the site too.

Gostou Hosts were superb, couldn’t do enough to ensure your stay was enjoyable. Spotless amenities and a great selection of free toiletries for your use.

We will definitely go back. So peaceful.

Não gostou It’s a blink and you’ll miss it turn into the farm. But once you notice the camping flag at the turning. You cannot miss it haha.

Gostou Everything was perfect, it was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and throughout the weekend Liz was so friendly and helpful! She gave us a lovely recommendation for a pub and walk. The hot tub was amazing and we were given instructions how to heat it through out the weekend. There were a few mosquitoes but we were also given repellent candles to burn and so had no issue with them at all. The cows were so cute and peaceful and we like that we had our own private field to look out onto and watch the sunrise. Couldn’t have stayed anywhere better!

Gostou Amazing 2 days at this campsite. We have both not been camping since we were children and wasn't sure what to expect. Beautiful site with quirky kitchen, shower room and toilet. Gorgeous jams, gin and farm eggs for sale. Beautiful views of the countryside and it was so nice seeing the chickens and turkeys running around. My partner loved feeding the cows and meeting Leroy the bull !

The hosts Liz and Steve couldn't do enough for us. Including breaking into our car when we left the key in it ! Advising on how to start the fire-pit, lending us a frying pan and showing us how to work the electric hob. Lovely to chat with them and get to know more about the farm. They were the most hospitable and friendliest people we have met.

We will definitely be back especially to use the amazing hot tub! and to explore more of the local area.
