Beeston Regis Holiday Park

Gostou The pitch I had was the nearest row to the sea and therefore the view was great. The toilet block was nice - clean and warm. The shower curtains would benefit from moving closer to the shower head so the floor in the changing part didn’t get wet. The coffee truck looked lovely even tho I didn’t need to use it. The walk along the coastal path was lovely. Entrance to site over the railway crossing was novel but easy enough to use once you knew the instructions written at the gate. We ate at the Village Inn and the food was excellent with very friendly staff. Dogs welcome. Loved the fighter jets practicing overhead.

Não gostou No motorhome grey waste disposal drain. Had to leave site with grey waste tank full as I don’t have a waste master container

Gostou What a lovely spot. Site is brilliantly run spot on facilities.
Definitely will return check out different season 👍

Gostou Lovely walks in both directions along the Norfolk Coast Path. The sunrise was spectacular. The Village Inn at West Runton is a great little country pub serving well cooked food, only 15 mins walk along the coast path. Advisable to book though if you're eating. In the other direction is a lovely 30 min walk to Sheringham along the coastal path. Lovely walks for the dog in land too, but note that the only access to the beach is in West Runton. We were in a campervan with no awning so took up very little space in our reasonably sized pitch in Church Field. Hay Field had closed for the season so tents, tourers, campervans & caravans were all in the same area, but it wasn't over crowded.
NB: Something to note if you're in a high vehicle and have mobility issues; you'll need to get out of your vehicle to open/close the level crossing gates on entry to the park.

Não gostou Only 4 toilets in the ladies, which was fine going into October when the camping field had closed for the season, but would be inadequate during high season when catering for two fields of camping and touring.
Absolutely NO Wi-Fi where we were in Church Field.

Gostou A friendly welcome in the very well appointed reception area: makes a change from someone in a hut! Our pitch was spacious, and - as we were in a tent - nicely sheltered. We never used the laundrette facilities, but the freezer was put to good use for our cool blocks. Can't fault the cleanliness of the toilets and showers, along with the upkeep of the rest of the site. With Sheringham and Cromer within walking distance, we only used the car a couple of times, so the location is ideal.

Não gostou It's nitpicking, but the mirrors in the toilet block are too low to be much use. To be fair, they can't be any higher because of the windows, but it made shaving a bit harder than it needed to be. But really - that's the only thing I can think of that wasn't great.

Não gostou Shame there’s No direct beach access from the park .. but there is a few minutes walk away .
WiFi poor on site - but that’s not a deal breaker for me !

Gostou Immaculate toilet block. Excellent sea view. Spacious pitch well looked after with short grass. Electric Hook Up

Access to the coastal path with walks to East & West Runton Cromer & Sheringham. Bus stop for both directions right outside the site

Excellent play area for children

Não gostou A drive over waste water drop for motorhomes would be useful to empty onboard tank

Not a fault of the site but no immediate access to beach because of high cliffs& coastal erosion but access is available at West Runton via coastal path.

WIFI and telephone signal (o2) both weak

Gostou Lovely setting on the coast , walks to sheringham &cromer on the coastal path .good showers ,nice &quiet can't fault it really but we went after school holidays.

Gostou - Wonderful views
- Huge pitch
- Clean facilities with a lovely warm shower
- Coffee and breakfast van on site
- Reasonably priced
- Really friendly site staff
- Lovely walk into Sherringham along the coastal path and ‘Beeston Bump’

Não gostou - No phone signal (not the sites fault) but worth noting
- WiFi was pretty much non-existent
