Gostou Nothing

Não gostou The most disgusting place , we only made one night & did not sleep . We wer e in static caravan 3 . It was filthy and stunk of damp.

Do gestor: When you arrived you were so happy with the caravan.
About an hour later you came and asked about bedding because you hadn’t booked any but had brought sleeping bags, you said that there wasn’t an option for you book any bedding, there clearly is an option on pitch up as we have had many other people book bedding but you clearly didn’t look past your nose. I explained to you that there is a charge for bedding hire and your reply was, it’s not cold so I think we will be ok with sleeping bags but I’ll go check with the others and let you know.
You said nothing about the “state” of the caravan then.
The following morning you rudely came into my tea room and threw the keys at me saying you couldn’t sleep in there anymore and that it was filthy. I offered to come in and give it another clean but you point blank refused.

This isn’t a new caravan and our prices reflect on this.

Yes we have mini dehumidifiers in there because it’s a caravan and it’s to help with moisture but these are checked each day and were dry.

If the caravan was as filthy as you say it was, then on that first conversation about the bedding why did you not say anything then? Why stay and sleep there and then have breakfast in a filthy disgusting caravan? If that was me I’d have gone and asked the owner politely if there was anything that could have been done.

I’m not going to start tit for tatting but I just want to point out that the stain on the carpet wasn’t there before your stay.

Sorry that our old girl wasn’t up to your standards but all pictures on pitch up reflect this.

Gostou Campsite was in a lovely setting, staff were friendly and helpful. Got everything you’d need on a good campsite.

Gostou We absolutely loved our stay , the site was so peaceful and just really homely and welcoming . We loved the decent tent pitch size and that there was a lovely looked after park on site , on arrival we were welcomed to join in with the party and bouncy castle on site , the tea room was lovely and clean and the fresh food looked amazing . The shower blocks where very clean and even though 50p charge for shower it gives plenty of time and the showers are in good condition and the water was lovely and warm. The host Dave was very approachable and went out of his way to help us as pretty new campers . We will definately be back to the site it's in a ideal location and we even visited the nearby farmer browns ice-cream. We had an amazing long weekend and I love this site .My little boy made so many new friends and we met some amazing people. Absolutely value for money x

Gostou Nice and quiet, near to footpath to walk to Sutton on sea. Close enough to be able to walk to the beach.

Não gostou Long walk to the loos, didn't know about the 50p for a shower until I got there, as not mentioned in the site info.

Yes it’s a long walk but let me reassure you I’ve been to worse and not moaned.
All information about the toilets being “miles” away from the pitches and that we charge 50p for 5 minutes use of the showers (which again we are totally in our right to do) is on the pitch up write up and is also in the welcome pack that you receive upon arrival so you have been given plenty of information regarding this.

Sorry that these 2 small matters were not to your satisfaction.

Gostou Location good. Just a mile across fields to lovely beach and new nature reserve. A few miles from town.

Não gostou Camping pitches are an unacceptable 250 metres or so from washroom and toilets.
Men's facilities run down, cramped and could benefit from updating, i understand women's are a bit better.

Please don’t say it’s unacceptable that the toilets are 250 meters away, yes they are a walk away from the pitches which for the record is stated in the pitch up write up and had you bothered to read this before booking you would have been fully aware.

Yes we do agree that the toilets need updating and this is on our to do list.

Gostou Absolutely beautiful site, would highly recommend, the owners where very helpful and understanding, first time touring and was made to feel amazing, lovely clean peaceful site . Will be definitely using again .

No there isn’t free WiFi and there won’t be but we are testing to see if we can get WiFi on the site and this will be charged per stay.

Gostou Calm site, everything clean, very nice owner, not far from the lovely beaches in Sutton on the sea and Mablethorpe. Tea room available, Wash room seemed to have even a selection of DVDs , Showers clean

Não gostou Toilets are a bit far from Grass pitch, no problem for all who have their own solution

Gostou Good location. Warm welcome. Pitches are level. Clean toilets and showers.

Não gostou Not really a dislike, just some advice.
The grass pitches are quite a distance to the shower/toilet block, so I would advise to take a portable toilet with you. Also you need to take 50p pieces for the 3-minute shower. Also take a 25m electric cable as my 10m wasn't long enough from my pitch.
